When I went shopping for a Concealed Carry (CC) firearm, I looked at several to get a feel for the grip, trigger break and other features as my hands are not large but they are thick and meaty. Do your research and compile a list of quality firearms before you go shopping. My list consisted of 17 to choose from and even though the store that I went to did not have every one of them on my list, I still had a wide variety to look at. Don't buy a SIG, Glock, Walther or Hellcat because John or Jane said so. _Find one that fits you as you will be the primary user of your next firearm._ After you have narrowed down your search from your list to just a few, only then can you choose by price, if that's what you wish, as you know that you will also have a quality firearm that fits your hands. Joseph Robinette Biden is the best firearm salesman that I've ever seen. Let's go, Brandon! \o/

Kevin, thank you. I have a question about handguns with a picatinny rail for mounting red dot lasers or flashlights. First off, I think that mounting a flash light on one's gun just makes one a target, What I think WOULD be useful is a rail mounted camera which would be of inestimable value to document a self defense shooting against a "bad guy". Are those available for handguns? One would, of course, have to turn on the camera as soon as trouble was suspected.

PSA : Never buy a Mossberg pistol. Stick with Glock or Glock clones. Re. parts availabillity. They screwed me on my MC1SC purchase. Would not provide a simple parts list and demanded my serial number before answering any questions. Horrible support experience. Further, they use the excuse of discontining the model to sell a new model and won''t provide parts list for or parts for the original model. They will likely pull the same BS on any model you buy. So, based on my experience, I wasted money on a Mossberg MC1SC and hate to see anyone else fall into the same trap. Wish I never tried to pioneer the MC1SC at this point. My replacement recipe for a cool and great gun that is better than any Mossberg pistol is a Glock 43 clone (PF9SS) with the 9+1 shield arms mag upgrade and a Hogue rubber pistol grip for a G43. I have a lot of experience with these matters, so take my word for it. While the new pistols are tempting, you have to look at market availability of parts and after market parts. Mossberg will never have any impact of tertiary markets. Stay away from their products. You are fater better off going with a G43, or a PF9SS, and then the Shield Arms 9+1 metal mag and be sure to get the metal mag release also (sold together as an upgrade kit for G43). My 2 cents. Mossberg sucks as far as after sale support and parts availability.
