That’s a loaded question lol. But always make sure to double check your measurements and backfill your pipes as you go to make sure the grade stays proper.

@@ThePlumbingGurus haha. Yeah I worry about my pipe getting ungraded due to mud. I am just a labourer, so I worry since I don't have any technical training. But thanks for the response, cheers. 👍

Do you guys have any recommendations on where to put things like the water service line, sump pit, and condensate drain when a plan doesn't call for a specific spot. where do you guys usually put them so you run into fewer head aches down the road. Thanks!

So our plans never call for specific spots. We always pre plan things out in our heads. It’s hard to say exactly where to put things and weather or not it will work out that way once you get to the rough in stage. Sump barrels would be best in a mechanical room so you can service it and same with the softener. We usually like to try and plan where our water walk will go and put the main service and the softener there. And the sump is usually best located in a corner out of the way, but still easily piped out the wall. Probably not a lot of help, but if you have any more specific questions we’d be happy to help.

You’re 100% right. There’s definitely some planning involved for sure. You really just gotta pre plan everything out in your head. That’s what we do before starting any job
