Man that must have been a really smart guy that recommended that process for you, he is probably really good looking too!

Turned out really nice. It was great timing that Alex had received his already so we could actually inspect the quality first hand. Super deal!

The wakes are brutal, but it’s a great city. Our middle son and daughter-in-law live here and the youngest is in Savannah. It’s been great to see them while we wait for weather to go further north.

I have 20 years experience manufacturing and importing from China. I like to find out who is manufacturing products being sold and go directly to the manufacturer. Customs records are available which makes it easy to find out who is manufacturing the products. If highfield is having products made in China I could easily find out who is manufacturing them.

@@SailingRoam I am playing around with the idea of building an aluminum tender powered by a 300hp supercharged rotax engine from a seadoo. A few years ago I built a 12' aluminum jet boat kit with the same engine.

@@ChrisHarding-lk3jj Sounds like fun! I’m definitely a fan of the rotax - power to weight ratio is insane! I have a friend in Seattle building all aluminum tenders that are almost exactly the same as the OC Carbon tenders except durable…

Good luck with that. Not sure i’d trust it for the long term. I can fully trust my Brig which still looks new after 5 years and taken through some serious conditions and long 100 mile runs. Too bad they are hard to get now but would still gladly pay extra for the piece of mind.

About chart plotter, what make did you get? Or is that an extra after receiving the Dinghy?
@SailingRoam
3 ай бұрын
The chart plotter wasn’t included from the factory. We bought a Garmin Echomap UHD 94sv. It was relatively inexpensive and gives us basic functions with NMEA 2000. It’s a little under powered if you load large chart areas and it has some trouble connecting to the Active Captain app for chart transfers.
