This is a dessert you won't have had before: The Chocolate, Caramel and Cream Ripple.
It's a brand new dessert rippled with 3 delicious flavours that will remind you of a Mars bar.
With just 3 ingredients and no baking, you'll find it's so quick and easy to make and simply delicious.
Ingredients for 4 x 5 ounce (150 ml) dessert cups:
Unsweetened whipping cream - 1¼ cups (10 fluid ounces / 300 ml)
Caramel or Dulce de Leche - 8 ounces (230 grams)
Dark chocolate - 3.5 ounces (100 grams)
Method:
Chop the chocolate into small pieces.
Heat ½ cup (4 fluid ounces / 120 ml) of the cream to just below boiling point (in a microwave or in a saucepan on the hob).
Pour the hot cream over the chocolate, let it stand for 2 minutes and then stir until the chocolate has thoroughly melted into the cream.
Set it aside to cool.
Next, whip the remaining cream with 2 ounces (60 grams) of caramel until form peaks form.
Put a 2D closed star piping tip (or something similar) into a piping bag.
Layout a piece of clingfilm and spoon a strip of cream across the width.
Add a strip of chocolate on one side and then a strip of caramel on the other side.
Wrap the clingfilm over the three strips to make a fat sausage shape and twist each end.
Cut one end off the clingfilm and feed the wrapped mixtures into your piping bag.
Now pipe it into your cups and you should get a nice ripple effect of the three fillings.
Top each cup with a chocolate. I used mini Mars Bars.
You can eat them now but they taste even better after an hour in a fridge.
