They just can't put every single ingredient in the list. Fragrances have a lot of ingredients and some are protected (so not disclosed/public) and as yous said, have A LOT of ingredients. Companies are usually required to just inform if certain chemicals from a specific list of allergens are present in the fragrance and, if they are, they are listed just as normal ingredients alongside the others (geraniol and linalool being the main examples of this). Also natural ingredients are absolutely wild when it comes to composition. Coconut oil is not a single substance, and almost every herbal extract is a bunch of at least a dozen of substances that are known by a single name (plant X extract = tens of herbal compounds that where originally in the plant and were extracted together using glycerin, oil, etc).

@@AllenBaby7 Most things just have a loose expiration date by showing how many months it is good for after being opened. So, you'll see an image and something like 12 or 24 to indicate how long it can be kept. However, I don't use makeup so I'm prone to forgetting when I first opened them. (To combat this, I got little stickers where I put the open date so I can compare it with the "expiration" date.)

They sort of do on cosmetics. It’s the little jar like imagine on the back with a number that has a D, M, or Y next to it. D = Day M = Month Y = Year This is designed for after you open the product, it’s shelf life. And if you can’t remember? Grab a sharpie or a sticker dot to write on the date you open the product up. And you can Google “cosmetic batch code expiration checker”, where there are some websites that allow you to enter a code number, the manufacturer number stamped on a product, type it into the website box, and you’ll see it’s shelf life of it’s never opened. I use to do this when I worked at Shiseido.

US cosmetic brands have to obey European regulations that are the same or more without significant impact on prices: - EU Directive 94/62/EC Packaging directive defines what information about the product needs to be on it. - 2019/2161/EU and 96/6/EU Regulation for basic price labelling ensure that consumers are not cheated by deceptive packaging through unambiguous, clearly recognizable and easily legible information. - EC 1924/2006 Health-Claims-Regulation prevents that companies don't make health claims that are not scientifically proven. You are mistaken to assume that pricing for cosmetic products is determinded by more or less regulations. In fact it is the smallest item in the cost breakdown. Pricing is determined by - to differentiate between 'luxury' and 'normal' brands without any difference in formulars. - Age target groups: cosmetics for girls and young women are usually cheaper than for mature women due to the difference in disposable incomes. - or market region or country: regions or countries with higher median income going to be charged higher prices than in others with lower median income.

Please work on pet food next! Many foods are recalled often such as purina. Purina recently had a recall, many pets were sick. The FDA asked the pet owners for the bag information and it all lead to the same food plant. The FDA didn't even take samples at the plant. The FDA said they "investigated" but they clearly did not since they didn't check anything or take samples, they also gave purina a 2 week notice. Even if they did take samples, the plant could have easily cleaned it up and hid the evidence. Pet food needs more regulations!

There needs to be a validation process to this QR code madness! One should have a valid SKU and proof of purchase! Otherwise you can’t complain about adverse effects! Also those reporting who pass the validation process, should disclose which other products they’re using and for how long. Causations doesn’t always mean correlation! Especially in skincare. Women go and mix so many different products without any care for the ingredients then cause themselves harm. Why should they single handle Ky attribute such harm to one specific brand?!
