I don't mean to nitpick but there is a mistake in the video. The narrator was going over the Server Manager interface and stated that you can add new features to multiple servers at the same time. That is not correct. You can install multiple features to one server, but you cannot install features to multiple servers at one time. Using PowerShell, you can, but not Server Manager. Regardless, thank you for providing these videos for free. Your generosity is greatly appreciated!

I was worried on how to take the MCSA when I noticed Lynda has minimal support for 70-410. (411 and 412 have enough to work with). This is great. Between this playlist and your Part 2, how much of the exam material would you say your videos cover?
@itfreetraining
7 жыл бұрын
At this point, our videos cover the exam 70-410 and portions of 70-411. We are working on several new videos at the moment that will cover the remainder of 70-411 as well as 70-412.

I believe windows 2008 offers a server core installation
@itfreetraining
9 жыл бұрын
robert perez-corona Not sure what you are saying. Does the text below answer your question. Server 2012 Interfaces Windows Server 2008 introduced the core interface. The choice of whether to use the full GUI interface or the server core interface had to be made at install time and could not be changed. With Windows Server 2012 you can change the interface at any time. To change the interface, it is a simple matter of removing and adding features using server manager, rebooting the server, and then the interface will be changed. Windows Server 2012 also adds an additional interface called the minimal interface. This reduces some of the more intensive graphical options but still allows access to tools like Server Manager. The minimal interface provides an interface between the full and server core interface.
