The new release of Odyssey 1.3 includes new features for transaction connection poolers: standby lag polling and transaction pooling for prepared statements. In this talk in the APAC livestream for Citus Con, Andrey discusses the challenges the team met on a road to these connection pooling features, their limitations, and the workloads they unlock.
Andrey Borodin has been hacking on Postgres since 2016. Andrey’s first patch was committed to Postgres 10. He is an Associate Professor at Yandex School for Data Analysis and Ural Federal University.
