The last Fenix TK series light I bought was the TK16. It's still a great light and going strong. It's amazing how these lights keep evolving and the tech advancements.

I lost my TK16. 🙃. I just ordered the 22R 😊. I use a flash light all the time and couldn’t go without it.

I bought the tk22 tac because i was attracted to the 540m beam distance, which i consider to be the tk22 tac's standout feature. The tk22r beam distance is lower ,at 480m. For a successor to the tk22 tac , i would have expected an increase in the beam distance, not a decrease of 11%. Logically, it should have been 600m but its 480m , so it's 120m short of where it should be, imo.

This light isn't a successor to the TK22 TAC. The TAC and TK series are different models altogether.

The main reason I avoided this light was the tungsten tips. I do not want to have it in my back breaking my other electronics, and I will likely never be in a situation where I'll ever need to break a window.

Hello friends, I am about to buy a tactical flashlight, I have 3 options Tk22r Tk20r EU TK20R V2 Which one do you currently recommend and why? I would appreciate your help, thank you very much🙂🙂

That will ultimately depend on your personal needs, but I would say the TK22R because of the glassbreakers, brightness, UI and runtime, at a similar price point to the others with a tad bit more future proofing as it's the most recent release!

Solid channel but if you guys are going to be a flashlight channel, you should start incorporating the comparison of "Candella". Lumens doesn't mean anything when it's low candellla

Can I use a standart battery 21700 (70 mm length) without usb port for the tk16? I suppose Fenix battery with a port is a little bit longer

Yes, you can! But it is not recommended by the manufacturer from the looks of it

Another SST-70 flashlight? As some people with good memory here in the comments are saying, it's almost the same as the TK16 V2. You just improve the 380m distance of the TK16 V2 into 480m distance thanks to the bigger reflector from the TK22 series. The little +200 lm jump doesn't make any difference, believe me. I own the TK16 V2 & the TK20R so I can tell... Same battery, same striking bezel, same design, possibly same UI... That's what I call recycling 2 flashlights in one

I LOVE the slightly cool light usually Fenix flashlights have! I thought it was a con, until I changed to neutral and found out, how many more advantages, the slightly cool tone provides! I can tell the distance of objects way better, it's much more relaxing and pleasant to the eye and generaly, it's a way more suitable light for flashlights and that's not my opinion, but facts. The only time a neutral tone around 5000K has an advantage, is for an artist's studio, and mostly for those who paint and deal with colors! For anything else, 6000K is the way to go! Even though I don't like the knurling and the paint finish, on the newer Fenix,as I did with the older ones, I still put it,.as my go to flashlight brand!! Thanks for the video!

5000K is the industry standard for professional artists who use colors, not just paint. It's the only temerature, that shows the colors properly. I've tried everything and I find it to be 100% facts. Do your homework before insulting like a kid indeed and thanks for the compliment! I'm 42 and a half years old. @@roguegeek

@@greekveteran2715 “The only time a neutral tone around 5000K has an advantage, is for an artist’s studio, and mostly for those who paint and deal with colors!” You said that, right? Just because YOU only have a use case for 5000K doesn’t mean everyone else does too. Contrary to what you believe, the world doesn’t revolve around you and unsurprisingly, you missed my point entirely. You’re 42 years old, for christ’s sake. Grow up and comprehend better than this.

Close but still not as good as Tk16v2 Too many moving parts on this. Taking the battery out to charge is fine. You don't need to do it often anyway. It just seems like a weak point of possible failure. Same with the toggles. Tk16v2 is the perfect light. Some of this stuff is design for the sake of design rather than function.

Imo, the wurrkos TD03 is the best tactical light. It's UI is superb, it's very edc friendly because it uses an 18650, but still has incredible runtime and the beam is just perfection. Also the ability to engage strobe from any point with one button click is amazing. Also getting right to turbo mode from any setting with just 1 turn of the dial is also it's strong point. I can recommend it enough. AND it is budget friendly usually around $35-40
