CINCINNATI (WKRC) - It's been called "Impressive," "Gorgeous," and "Spacious" and it's truly all three.
After spending a year and a half across the river the Bearcats are back at home but this home as an $87 million makeover.
It's Fifth Third Arena like no one has ever seen it before.
One University of Cincinnati student said the sleek new look takes UC to the next level.
Senior Nick Sweeney said, "We didn't really have those big screens everywhere and now it looks just way more modernized."
Big screens, better seats and a bright new look is what season ticket holders like Karen Weissman have been wanting for a long time.
"It's very open. It's airy. It's great, it's a fresh look. It's easy to get around and you don't feel closed in," Weissman said.
That's thanks to two 360-degree concourses.
Weissman said the new arena rivals even the most iconic college basketball arenas.
"It just brings it up there. We can compete with everyone else and the recruits would love this place. They need to come here," she said.
Another fan favorite is the new concession stands that include Cincinnati classics like Frisch's, Taste of Belgium and Skyline Chili.
UC Alumnus Joe Decker said, "It's Cincinnati. It's the Bearcats. It's everything you could want in one place. Literally."
