2024 is the 80th Anniversary of D-Day, the start of the great campaign to liberate Europe
and bring WW2 to an end.
During WW2 the Ashley Walk Valley in The New Forest was turned into a bombing range. Bomber crews were trained here and new types of ordnance was tested, including the Bouncing Bomb.
Most of the targets that were set up during the war have disappeared but one target remains and this is what we are going to see in this video.
