What I love about quality audio equipment is the fact that it can be repaired and lasts a lifetime, unlike most of today’s throwaway electronics like phones, TVs etc. Great inventory !

It’s good to hear that you upgrade turntables but I was wondering if you upgrade audio capacitors when refurbishing speaker crossovers or amplifiers, or do you aim to keep components to the original factory specs? My personal preference is to mod equipment with better quality replacement parts to improve on original specs - given parts have improved so much over time. What’s your take on this?

Awe any thing with nobs speakers CD, Radio, Tape, Dvd, I really love, I'm 63 and am still amazed how these things work. I just wanna get down on my knees and wave my arms "were not worthy " I have always been a fan of separates. I have a Rotel turntable from 1980 that on numerous occasions I have been told chuck it out over the last 40 odd years and it's come back and still works fine but! I am a CD fan only because of kids dogs and cats leaping or knocking the cabinet whilst the records were or are playing. My Holly grail for music is Spotify these Days. I still have records tapes and many Cds I guess some charity shop will get them in the future. I have only played most of the Lps twice to record onto Tape or CD they were easy to transfer to the car over the yrs and now it's blue tooth or Wi-Fi. No one else I know has the passion I have for any recorded or recorded delivery live music in my family. Maybe a grand child may take # over from me when I'm dead and gone # there is some thing so magical in music, laid on my back eyes shut and 🎵🎵🎵🎵🎶🎶🎵🎵🎵🎵🎶🎶🎶🎶 Floating round the room.

Symon, I had a chance to meet Fernando in person on Veteran's Day weekend last year. I auditioned and bought a pair of Sonus Faber Amati Futuras. Fernando is a very gracious host and I would highly recommend any audiophile to book an appointment to visit the store. SkyFi Audio sells all the equipment that I have dreamed of owning at a very competitive price. The inventory is like taking a walk down memory lane and revisiting all the audio masterpieces.
