My grandpa, who has been in the cow business, bailing hay for over 50 years, always says,”I wish I could get paid to lie like that!”, talking about the weather man.

I'm on the verge of buying a used of that model: Is yours a 540 or 1000 RPM model? The one I'm looking at has swivel drive but hooks to 3PH arms like others I've seen, but yours attaches to drawbar?

Did you change all the oils in the grearboxes and in the cutter bar.... seen in my manual that is yearly maintenance as well as did you set your roll gap on your conditioners? I got mine the rolls were too far apart to do much crimping could crank the tent ion up and still didn’t do much good rolls had a 1/4 gap between them!

Checked oil levels....looked brand new to me & leaving it alone. Roll gap is perfect & tensioner works as intended.
