For people who want the Frequency of the Alarm siren: 2000hz and 3900hz

I like having the back door (where the keypad is next to) on a delay for armed home. My thinking is, when armed away, the door has a 30 second delay so having a delay on armed home makes no difference in security. Yes, I admit I am guilty of forgetting to disarm it when I’m half awake lol. The delay has saved me from some embarrassing calls from the alarm company when bringing out the trash 😅🤣

That’s pretty cool, I think adt new panel uses that panel. You should get some motion detectors and maybe an extra siren. Also for fun, you should test out simplisafe and ring security systems.

all of the windows are covered by shock sensors for this system since it is the main alarm for the house, but I did recently get some motions for a DSC I am working on. And yeah, I plan on looking into an exterior siren for this system! I actually have a plan of getting a Ring doorbell so that may just be a video soon! Thanks for the ideas and the view!

I don't care if it is a hobby system or anything. Even if it is a hobby system, keep your code confidential. And, if you do have an alarm sound on your property, DON'T CALL YOUR MONITORING COMPANY! Calling your monitoring company WILL tie your phone line and WILL result in police and fire dispatch. DON'T CALL YOUR MONITORING COMPANY! Doing so WILL result in a police and fire dispatch. My dad did this and police showed up at the front door. Cancel the alarm or wait for the monitoring center to call you. When they do call, provide your password that you set up at the beginning of your contract. However, some alarm companies may not have a password system and they may instead use some other verification method or other verifying your identity technique. For example, your alarm company may ask you a question that only YOU know the answer to. Very similar to a password hint or code question on your email in the event of a lost or forgotten password. For example, they may ask, "Can I have your wife's mom's name please?" "Can I have your niece's birth year please?" Or something like that. My alarm company does that. My alarm company asks me questions that only I know the answer to that were set up at the beginning of my contract. Again, the answer to those questions would be set up at the beginning of the contract. HOWEVER, the vast majority of alarm companies use passwords that I mentioned above.

Does the system announce that you are in test mode and send a test message to the central monitoring station? If not, I came up with a message that will both be spoken and sent. Testing system. No dispatch required. At the end of the test, the system will say and send another message. System test concluded. Resuming normal operations of security protection.

nice idea! This particular one is put on test mode directly through calling the alarm company, but this is a great feature you came up with!

What’s the camera for on the panel
@tabbycats8229
Жыл бұрын
Hi! The camera records disarmed images when you turn the alarm off at the panel. It also catches images of when you use the hostage code (code to disarm the system if a criminal is forcing you to, it sends a non noticeable silent alarm but disarms it regularly at the panel so they don't know) thanks for the view!
