Feel like they need a higher rated power option in both tractors. A 280 in the 4 series would open it up for triple mower work etc. A 400+ in the 8 would be great for wood chipping and tree clearance work. Both those things would really work well with the excellent road characteristics

There's a farmer not far from me with an 8330 Fastrac and its an amazing machine. You didnt see too many older Fastracs here in Canada and most of those were pretty much only used as carting tractors. But JCB is really pushing over here with the new series and I think guys are buying them. But like you said the older ones are really a road machine. Thats why they never caught on over here. People who tried them said they were light on traction in the field, but not the new ones dont seem to have that problem

Nice Tractor,I Have Never Understood Why Farm Tractors Should Be Solid Rear End Not Suspended,This is from somone who started Driving them 42 Years Ago ! I Dont See How Farmers Are Prepaired to pay Massive Prices for a Tractor That is Still Solid Rear End in this day and Age.And They seem impressed that the cab is on Supension. If your buying a New Tractor in 2022 it Should have All round Suspended Axles,Would You buy a New Car with a Solid Rear End ? If JCB Are Making Fast Reliable Fully Suspended Tractors at a Competative Price,Why would Anyone Want to buy Another Make That is still Using Tech From the Past and paying a load of money for it. Buy a British Tractor That is Superior To All the others and be Proud of it.

@GeorgeSaunders
Жыл бұрын
Hi maxevil, no doubt the Fendt was very good, it was a profi plus so it definitely had the air suspended cab, but it wasn't a patch on the Fastrac comfort wise and indeed the Fastrac did everything the Fendt could do in the field. It really was a good comparison when I was at Henry's.
