I have a Rocket 3R and I've not seen another on the roads yet, the only evidence I have is the local Revved up tea bar at Walton has snapped two others in the last year or so, so they are pretty exclusive.

I'm trying to justify the price. Personally I'm an epic fan of paint. I like my bikes to absolutely ooze character...even if it a glance and the thought gee thats the fastest production bike I'll see today. Why Triumph decided to build a heavy black bike has me miffed....ZH2SE

One of the problems of batteries is that they are bulky and heavy. That said I don't understand why no one has come up with a 300-320kg electric cruiser. It could have a close to 30kwh battery, a 30kw DC fast charger and a 200Nm/100hp motor easily for around 200km of highway range. It would be like a double battery livewire. It makes more sense to pay 40,000 for a cruiser than 35,000 for a naked, sorta a Tesla Model S approach.
@robbikebob

I think the reason for the lack of an electric cruiser is down to the people that are going to buy them. Most cruiser riders want their presence to be announced by a loud exhaust. It's the first thing most riders do. An electric bike is a bit too stealth for them. They might even not get noticed. Which would be terrible!

My thoughts exactly. That electric power torque would be amazing. I wouldn't buy one yet though. 🤣🇦🇺

I was thinking about buying 1, but from practicality point of view, i remembered my experience with Suzuki m1800r, all of those large, land barges eventually wear you out... And then after buying it for 21k you are lucky to get 50% back.

You don't buy this bike thinking about selling it in the future! Trust me its fantastic you get what you pay for. When you cant ride it anymore pass it down to a love one. Ride safe bro. By the way the M109r is a beast as well! My buddy owns one and he put some beautiful custom finishes on it.

8000 Bikes per year on Triumphs generous interpretation of the sales figures (guaranteed to be actually substantially lower), divided by 4 color options = 2000 bikes per year per color.............. Triumph we are making 1000 bikes in this color and calling it limited edition LOL oh and we will charge you $1000 extra for black paint and a carbon mud guard! LMAO

@michaelwinter3132
2 жыл бұрын
@@Mo-xx9gg it is easy to use the full hp and torque of a Rocket. Just search for a long straight and twist the throttle. It will keep up with an R6 in the lower gears, but that's about it. There is a lot more power hidden in that engine, it's very restricted in stock condition.
