Very good point of view. We strongly need in the Gutenberg editor more advanced settings for responsive menus, responsive blocks display, blocks ordering, responsive negative margin, z index... The problem is that all the "official" demos are done in desktop mode and never in mobile mode (despite the fact that mobile is now the major use). We already say since many years that Gutenberg is lacking more responsive controls (despite the intrinscic design direction) and saddly anonymous users suggesion are not considered. Hoping that more stronger voices, like you Adam, in the WordPress community will change that.

Thanks for saying loud and clear what most of us think about the lack of responsive controls. It seems so obvious to me. The way WP is giving credit to the intrinsic design notion feels to me a bit like the tale of The Emperor's New Clothes. Can you build a site without attention to detail? Sure, you can. But is it going to be the best possible website? If the answer is no, what's the point?

Yes agree, Litarally all the updates from the past few years have been Gutenberg. But the WP admin, settings page, dashboard and plugins pages have all been the same. Agreed, almost all updates of the past year have been Gutenberg editor only, just like with WooCommerce... Gutenburg should be disconnected from the core of both WordPress and WooCommerce so the versions are getting more stable AND less frequent again. Also it would lighten the code base on your server when your using another page editor. Not having Gutenberg in the core when using another page editor also means less code on your server that might contains flaws which could be exploited.
