This is for Jason who asked me about my faith. It’s never too late, Jason, to start seeking the Lord. He’s the Creator. He made the beauty that’s all around you. The stars. The trees. The intricate flowers. The majestic mountains. And you. He made you and He made you fearfully and wonderfully. Think of your eyes and your fingers and all the different systems that make up your body. We point back to an amazing God and Creator. We bear His image. We think. We are artistic. We feel. We desire. But we are broken image bearers. He’s perfect. Without blemish. Without sin. He’s holy. Set apart and high above us because He’s without sin. We are sinful. We’ve broken His moral law. The Ten Commandments. We’ve lied. We’ve stolen. We’ve taken His name in vain. We have sinful sexual desires and actions. None of us are good. He said the wages of our sin is death. But here’s the good news. The Lord is rich in mercy. He sent His Son, Jesus, to die in our place. The last three words that Jesus spoke before He gave up His Spirit were, “It is finished.” He took care of the payment for our sin by His death. He rose again on the third day. If we repent of our sins, agree with the Lord that we are not good and have broken His law, and if we turn from our sin, and put our trust in Jesus and what He did on the cross for us, He forgives us, washes us clean, and grants us eternal life. He gives us a new heart and new desires. His gives us the eyes to see Him as truly wonderful. I encourage you, Jason, to not let the day end before you consider these things…forsake your sin, turn to Jesus, trust Him as your Lord and Savior. The joy that He will flood your heart with as you then begin seeking Him in His Word, the Bible, will be yours without measure! And the joy of the Lord then is your strength, come what may, until He calls you into His face to face presence.

I just found your channel. I follow others with ALS as they document their journeys on KZitem. I will be following you on your journey if you continue to make videos, which I hope you do. May your faith continue to give you strength and peace. I'm glad you're feeling and doing better. I'm happy you and your children and family have got more time to be together. My best to you.

Hi, Annie - Our cases sure do sound similar. My legs are equal in weakness. My right arm is worse than my left but my left is getting bad too. Hands still good. It’s getting harder to turn over in bed and pull the covers up. We do what we do and feel how we feel because we think what we think. To make it through this victoriously is to keep our minds on the promises of God. He’s with us always. Though our bodies are wasting we will be raised with bodies like Jesus if we’ve turned from our sin and trusted in His payment for our sin with His death. Wearing His robes of righteousness is eternal life for us. I’m looking so forward to serving Him and worshipping Him on the new earth He’s creating. Hope in Him, sweet Annie. That’s my daughter’s name, by the way. ❤️

Hi Kathy: you seem like a truly good person, and I am sorry that you are dealing with all this. In case you are interested, there are GREAT support groups for ALS on Facebook. They are a wealth of knowledge and also many of the members share your beliefs about God. Look for the group "ALS Naturally"

What an inappropriate question, ALS patients are the last group of people you need to be testing or judging.
