I bought the Nira Pro in January and used it every day for three months. I am 61 and unfortunately it made absolutely no difference whatsoever. However I have a red light therapy mask and have used this virtually everyday since August 2022 and have noticed a great improvement in skin tone and firmness. I am now considering buying the neck and chest version.

I use Nira once or twice daily, Omnilux red light every other morning, and Myolift Mini microcurrent weekly (in maintenance mode now). I continue using my various serums that I've used for years before. If I could afford it, I'd buy a radio frequency device and my skin care collection would be complete! It's all worth it for me.

I ordered my Nira a few months ago when it was backordered. By the time it came, I was then using a red light all over body panel that hangs on my bathroom wall for medical purposes, and thought that was enough red light, I didn’t need the Nira. I initiated a return but then decided, I have 90 days to try it before returning, might as well! I’m 54 and my under eyes and eyelids have gotten very wrinkly and crepey despite an ablative Fraxel in my 30’s, an LED face mask, taking collagen, all kinds of skincare and once under eye filler. I’ve been using the Nira now, Day 6, and hard to tell so soon but I swear it appears some of my crows feet are beginning to soften, the deeper lines on my forehead (yes I’m using it all kinds of places, including my neck lines!) and surprisingly clearing the redness on my cheeks and around my nose where I have lots of spider veins. I had those spider veins zapped with a laser once and they came back quick and have worsened. I know this won’t get rid of them but just the reduction in redness has been great, totally unexpected and I haven’t heard anybody mention it could do this!! So just for that alone, I’m pretty happy and might purchase the larger head one to decrease the time as I’d love to use it on my chest, on my hands and arms and even face to make it quicker. Loving this product already and after everything else I’ve already tried for my skin, that’s saying something.

It's interesting that Nira sent me an email with your link. The email suggests it as a positive review but I found it to be honest and maybe less positive for switching to the larger device. I've been using almost daily the original device for over a year. I've noticed less deepening of wrinkles but it's taken a while. I didn't see a difference after 90 days and should have return it but kept on using it. Not sure if it's from the device or using good skin care products that is making my skin look better. I'm in my mid-60's and have tried lots of gadgets and skincare products. I appreciate you cautioning viewers of the intensity of the device. I am now at level 4 and it's taken over a year to get to that level. When I had first started the pain was shocking. It's good to hear the intensity has lessen with the larger device but I don't think I would switch to the Pro. Thanks for the honest review.

I had ablative laser treatment four times! The first two times were painful, with two weeks’ downtime each. neither time showed any results whatsoever, so the doctor went deeper on the third time and only charged half price. Again, no results. My husband was furious and declared it a scam, so the doctor gave me a fourth treatment absolutely free, and as deep as the laser could go without scarring. Alas, ONE, and only one wrinkle around my mouth was gone. The doctor declared it a victory, said I looked younger, and dismissed me completely. As a result, my husband was so angry he has refused to let me have any more procedures at all ever again!

I've been using the Pro for 5 months as of this week, and do have some mixed feelings. I had had botox on my forehead at the start of my experiment, and funnily, it's all worn off and my forehead doesn't look too much different than day one. So I am wondering if the Nira has helped me maintain what I started with? My neck and chest really have not shown any noticeable change, no diff in jowls either, it's all exactly the same to my eye. No wrinkles have vanished however a few areas seem a tad (and I do mean a 'tad') softer. But I should also mention I started my Tretinoin journey a month prior to the Nira, starting at the lowest level and I'm up to 0.05 now (still peeling and frustrated with it, but I'm sticking with it for now). So I'm not sure what is doing what during this 5 month journey. The one area tho that I think I'm seeing a definite difference is my upper lip. The lines do look softer, and there seems to be a slight plumping of the upper lip as well. That was a pleasant surprise and perhaps the only reason why I may hold on to this device a bit longer. My two and a half cents from the Big Apple here ;-)

Using the NIRA lasers for maintenance can lower the cost and frequency needed for injections. It's great to hear that you've noticed some positive changes. I'm wondering if the reduction in wrinkle depth, is possibly a fullness caused by inflammation. As soon as you stop using the device the inflammation has time to subside, and as a result the fullness disappears and the wrinkles return. What worries me is, has there been permanent fat pad loss from constant heat exposure, and will you have aged your skin in the process 😐
@NIRA_skin
5 ай бұрын
Great question! The NIRA Laser only heats up the papillary region of the skin, and since it is non-fractional, it is not invasive or damaging to the skin. It will not melt or destroy fat cells. It works by heating up the water underneath your skin, and this triggers collagen to start building. When used consistently, skin will smooth out for an overall healthier complexion.

I've also had some loss by my nasolabial fold, which is also good -- it reduced the trough there, as well. Because I seem prone to fat loss with this device, I'm sure to use it at low setting (2) now to avoid more loss while smoothing the finer lines.

Otherwise I've listed my skincare routine in the description - vitamin c serum every morning, No 7 Future Renew Serum morning and night, Bluelene sunscreen am, in the evenings I use a retinal every other day plus Calecim multi action cream.

After only two treatments It increased the darkness of my brown spots on my face and hand, and I sent it back along with pictures. The brown spot on my hand was actually made larger and will now have to be treated at a dermatologist office. I received a refund, but not an apology. A device that actually does damage to your skin should be removed from the market! None of these at home energy devices are worth much of anything, except for possibly the Qure microneedling. @@NIRA_skin Yeah I think [I know] what happened is that sometimes when I put the laser on my face the laser starts but then a side or corner of the nira comes up and gives a warning beep so I have to move the nira around until I find the side that lost contact with my skin. But the thing IS, that all the while that I'm moving the nira around the laser keeps getting hotter and hotter so when I finally make full contact with my skin again the laser is SUPER hot & continues to get hotter until the end beep, which the timer starts once you make full skin contact, but if you start that timer with the laser and skin already hot... that'sproblematic. One time it did that it was over part of my eyebrow and burned my eyebrow hairs off. This machine SHOULD turn the laser off if it stops making contact fully, but instead it continues to heat up. It might be something to mention to your developers so that they can improve on it in later models.

The best at home fraxel was the Philips ReAura laser which they sadly discontinued. I still have one. It’s lasted about six years. I would say that it is definitely comparable to a light fraxel in-office procedure. I see that they now go for a fortune on eBay, etc…and if mine breaks down I may have to splurge and buy another. I don’t think that most of these new generations are powerful enough to really make a difference and I wouldn’t want to be using heat daily…hmm.. The reason they most likely discontinued the Philips is because the technology was too advanced for at home usage and could be dangerous in the wrong hands. I am sure the lawsuits just exploded and they nipped it in the bud. At the end of the day …a few fraxels, etc from the derm or a good old CO2 will do the trick. I agree. Plus they are better accustomed to aftercare and pre- treatment care, contraindications, etc. I worked in the field for a while. It’s a booming business. I used to trust KZitem reviews way more but now I see the same stuff peddled over and over again on channels of those I used to trust. Guess many sell out to the mighty buck after a while, unfortunately 😊

Red-light LED therapy may offer less effective anti-aging results compared to laser treatments due to their lower energy and less targeted light. For optimal results, it's generally recommended to have at least 10 sessions lasting about 20 minutes each over the initial few months. While at-home LED kits are available, results may be less pronounced than professional in-office treatments or other at-home devices. Individuals with photosensitivity conditions or on medications that make them photosensitive should avoid red light therapy. NIRA, a trailblazer in the field, introduces the first and only painless at-home laser devices that are FDA-cleared and clinically proven to reduce fine lines and wrinkles in less than 5 minutes a day. Non-fractional technology has also been shown to lift hooded eyes, brighten skin, reduce hyperpigmentation, tighten skin, and improve skin's texture and tone. NIRA's patented laser technology is 200x more powerful than LED and 190x more powerful than competing at-home laser light technology, providing unmatched efficacy for your skincare journey.

Great video! I have an original Nira and I kind of hate it. Don't know why, but even on the lowest setting, that darn thing is HOT. Nira customer service was great, but my window for return had passed, and their solutions did not make any difference. i used for 90 + days with an adjustment of pinching the tip between my fingers, so the tip and heat would be more diffused. I did not see any great changes. My concerns are 11's , nasal / marionette lines. I am ok with my eyes, and don't want to use a hot laser device in such a sensitive area, FDA studies not withstanding. With that stated, I am in total agreement that opting for a gentler, more self accepting and loving approach to skin care, has real value. We are all going to age and with all the factors, genetics, environment, general health and of course, current age, we have the opportunity to make peace with the marketing and choose wisely. I have friends who love their devices, including NIra. If you love it, embrace that! I also have a red light mask and have more appreciation and enjoyment from that device. Our non-fractional laser technology is clinically proven to stimulate collagen production, resulting in significant wrinkle reduction within 90 days. Additionally, increasing collagen in the skin offers long-lasting benefits beyond wrinkle reduction. These include lifting hooded eyes, improving skin tone and texture, and reducing the appearance of dark circles and eye bags. While the NIRA laser can help rejuvenate the skin under your eyes, it's important to also address the underlying causes of under-eye hollowing, such as dehydration, weight loss, lack of sleep, and sun exposure. Stay healthy, hydrated, and always protect your skin with sunscreen.
