Thanks for this video! Im graduating this semester and this is a great way to keep organized. I was wondering if you would give an example of a brain sheet to keep organized throughout your shift.

Love that u bought UR own pulseoxi and thermometer. Such a great idea. I was a cna for about a month or two and I remember stuffing all my pockets with gloves since some rooms were out and I didn't want to go running around searching for some when the patient usually needed me right away. However, is that consider safe? I know the rules are don't leave patients room with gloves on due to microbes but any idea if it still applys to having them in your pocket.

I had my first clinical today in subacute unit in the hospital my pt was very easy personality wise but it was hard never taking care of ppl before. I work in the hospital but I do registration. It was a rough day I felt lost in clueless but the first day is over and I feel better going in next week.

Thanks for all the great tips! Could you please tell us more about the notebook that you carry with you. What kind is it? What do you put in it? Do you carry it with you or where do you put it while you are going from room to room?

great vid, thanks! today was my first day of clinicals and I was terrified. We start off with geriatrics and they were very kind and forgiving for my clumsy mistakes. One thing though, the nursing home we were at did not have a thermometer (or at least they didn't know where it was when I asked for it) I didn't know I could bring stuff like that. Thanks for the great ideas.

I'm graduating in December. Any tips on how to study for the NCLEX? Also, I'm looking into getting a job out of state. Any tips on job hunting, resumes, and getting your license transferred to another state?
