Your career is so not worthless! You’re an amazing creative and you’ve essentially built a brand and a media presence just based on like-ability. It may be unserious to you, because you’re funny. But it’s serious to us because we support you!

Thank you for making me laugh, Joanna. It's a heavy grief day for me as a recent widow and I woke up feeling so hopeless, but found myself laughing out loud watching your video today and that has given me the motivation to make myself something to eat. Often we don't know the impact we leave on others, so I wanted to let you know that you made a difference in my day and I'm grateful for that. Love from Toronto, Canada

60 is the most perfect amount of guests! We had invited around 120 and about 60 showed up (lots of no-shows that had rsvp'd yes beforehand). It was intimate, we were able to actually hang out with everyone, and super low-key. Loved it! Love all your wedding related stuff!

I think when there’s just a small zucchini fruit and it stays small and starts to turn brown and die, it means it was not fertilized. I had that happen last year. I started hand pollinating them. It worked. It’s kinda fun. I just used a paint brush to transfer pollen from the males to females

Omg even 30,000 dollars is nuts. I paid under 10k all in for 60 guests and it was perfect and beautiful and was everything we needed. The venue did everything !Even the 10k I sometimes regret but 30k is absolutely wild to me

@@joannaspicer prices here are nuts. The average wedding is 20k here. Our venue did everything except table decor and flowers which I got at Michael's for 75 dollars. I had to sacrifice some stuff and had it on a Friday night but it saved tons of money

I don't know what kind of set up and catering you had, but here in N.Y. $10,000 is not getting you far unless you have it in a VFW or someone's backyard. Even catering halls that provide all the food, cake, tables, chairs, linens et. would be more than $ 10,000. I paid that for my wedding in a catering hall in 1978! My daughter's wedding in 2016 for 153 people was roughly $60,000 +. If you want really inexpensive, the get married in City Hall, hire a photographer and take a few people to a nice restaurant

Second what the other commenter said about your zuchinni plants (sorry im from the UK so i dont know how to spell it! We call it a courgette lol!) needing to be pollinated by bees (or hand pollinated). You also need male and female flowers to be open at the same time. I had the same issue but i planted loads of nastirtiums around it to attract bees and that worked! Love seeing your garden, such a different climate to ours (id never be able to grow a lemon tree!) But so beautiful and sundrenched 🌞

I'll be going to a destination wedding in Chicago and there is no welcome party and no brunch. When my daughter got married in 2016 ( at the Foundry in LIC N.Y.) we at least had a breakfast the day after because we wanted the hotel guests to be fed before leaving to fly or drive home. You may surprised that you'll get closer to 80 then you think, because people will turn your wedding into a vacation. We added 2 days to Chicago because if I'm traveling I may as well see the city.

Hi Joanna, I follow you on TikTok now as well, but I have to say this again because OCD. Rockaway Beach? Assuming you may have Google but that’s a beach here in NYC, in Queens. So yes, there probably is concrete, there is definitely ocean, suntan lotion, salt, and they said hedges. Maybe that was the green pointy thing?💚 either way, love your videos and I’m glad your kitties are OK.
