Could have been with private money if Detroit and MI wasn't so abusive to corporations.

I agree that it might be done by private money if, if, if... in my 75 yrs I've seen corporate merica' greed and screw cities big x , then leave for a " greener city " to screw, all the corporations that left MN due to excess taxation is a crime also, 🤡 politicians still tax MN folks way to much... lastly, all 5 sports teams got billions in tax subsidies, and asking for more in 2024!! few jobs, few clicks, but not much benefit to avg folks over my 75 yrs, but, nothing's guaranteed

Boy, they sure are excited about tearing something down; which is always 100X easier than building something. I'll be waiting with bated breath to see the successful and impressive stuff they put up in its place.

There was another plant in East Detroit torn down in like 1986. Took almost a year of continuous pounding. Did not come down in 30 seconds. Fu of rebar and re enforced cement

Yeah. That's what they need. More Government projects! Did you know that more government begets MORE government? And... that government exists mostly for... itself ? ? Think about it. You / We, have to Create our jobs everyday. Or, they cease to exist. Same with Government!! When does it stop ? ?
