If one uses the assumption that the human hand can move 150 mph and they thermal relaxation time is 100 ms for a thick dark hair and that it takes for treatments at the thermal relaxation interval to achieve the appropriate temperature the hand could not treat a pass longer than 2 cm. Can you comment on this. This of course is assuming you know the temperature required and the depth required and that considers the wavelength of the energy source used

My models assume various things as all computer must. But they do calculate the fluences required to attain the temperatures required to fully denature the germ cell proteins with their corresponding times. The relaxation times are irrelevant in these calculations since they have no bearing on the denaturation processes. The scanning speed of the human hand must match the delivery rate of the energy for the area treated. And of course, the different wavelengths require different fluences.
