Sonic Tools updated their line of ratchets to include more teeth delivering less arc-swing for more performance in tighter areas. Even with increasing the tooth-count, Sonic still kept the same strength in the ratchets. Not only the function and performance have changed. Sonic Tools upped the aesthetics game as well.
Sonic Tools new ratchets include a 60-tooth count using a single-pawl design. The old ratchets included a single pawl 45-tooth count, but the pawl actually engaged using only one side of the pawl for each direction. Just 3 teeth would engage at a time. The new design has an 8-tooth pawl that fully engages in both directions. This allows better performance even at a higher tooth-count.
A new elliptical-shaped handle is more comfortable and looks much better than the old round handles. The new red molding around the logo also better represents the Sonic Tools logo better than the old. The new Sonic Tools Ratchets just simply look, feel, and function better.
You can get the ratchets by themselves or in the Sonic Foam System trays. If you haven't checked out Sonic Tools before, then you're in for a treat. You can buy a toolbox complete with tools. And, the tools come packaged in foam trays, laser-cut for each individual tool and labeled accordingly. Be sure to check out shoptoolreview... and sonictoolsusa.com
