The interesting thing about these dolls is that the sticker fashion means that fashion packs and add-ons could be released at a very low price point relative to other types of doll clothing! And artistic kids could make their own paper fashions for them very easily! I sure there is a subset of kids who would love this idea to bits, they're paper dolls with more durability and hair play!

Oh this looks like an excellent twist on paper dolls! For people who want 3D dolls too, if a good body is found for them to re-head to, they could also be a great challenge for new doll makers, using their 2d fashion as prompts to recreate in 3D! Almost like a 'Baby's First Doll Customization' set!

I actually love this concept. Clothes are much easier to change if you're careful not to lose pieces. Are the stickers vinyl, like cling vinyl? Isn't there some vinyl tool cutter out there? Suzzux or something? It's great for someone with limited space. You could have backdrops of different scenes that fold even flatter than your folding rooms. And those room displays could have movable sticker furniture and lamps and plants, pets, accessories. A Halloween pack, Christmas pack, shopping center, restaurant etc. You can change the decor depending on what kind of food they want Fun idea

With your knowledge on templates, I think creating your own pattern for doll clothes is totally doable; especially if you have a sticker maker! I think it’d be more of a template than a pattern, since it’s 2-D, so that’d make it pretty easy to trace to be able to design your own clothes. Then if you have some kind of sticker maker, you can print out the designs on that! 😁😊💜 (Tbh perhaps you already came up with the idea by now, but I had to pause the video & come share this idea ASAP Lol! 😜)

Not gonna lie, I’m getting Cookie Run OvenBreak/Kingdom vibes from the dolls! Especially with the 3D heads and flat bodies! If it wasn’t for the fact that the dolls had no articulation on the limbs, I would’ve LOVED to see a custom doll from this doll series made into CRK/OB characters! BUT, I *DO* see this as an opportunity to create your own fashions BASED on the CRK/OB characters! Sticker fashions maybe, but for a quick inexpensive version, one with double sided tape would work perfectly, and the outfits can be regular drawings, but laminated with a home office lamination device. Not sure how much those things cost, but if you can find an inexpensive one that works beautifully, then I say you got yourself a way to create your very own paper doll outfits for the Bae dolls, mix and match variety AND outfits you can make yourself! Keep in mind that the lamination home machines have plastic sheets that you need to buy more of for refills, if you can find them in the store or online.

I was never into paper dolls but quite like the concept of these, especially the stickers with fur texture. That's interesting, but like you said, not great long term with it getting everywhere and possibly over the sticker backs. While it's maybe defeating the object a little, it would be so cute to make fabric versions of some of these outfits. The mesh sleeve top and tartan skirt are my favourites.

I don't see the idea on this. Paper / flat dolls should be easy to store flat, and should allow your own creations. These take pretty much the same space as 3D dolls, and you can't make more creations if you don't find that vinyl. (well you can, but good luck getting them to stay.) This is a nice step away from the digital paper doll apps, but they could have just made the dolls flat and thrown in a "fashion studio" notepad for your own creations, the kind that was popular a few years ago.

This is pretty much an evolution of it that's a bit more sturdy.(Well doll base wise) Be cool to get one of these, I wonder how it'd go if I customized one to make my own character? At the very least I know I wanna try making some paper clothes cause given everything custom outfits will be easier than sewing. Making sure they stay on & maybe getting them setup so others can print them out is another thing to work on.

huh, i'm seeing them as mannikins for any of the miniverse boutiques. also, it would be interesting if they could be made magnetic. so instead of stickers, you'd have something a little more durable and less likely to wear out from stick/re-sticking them. not sure how it would be done though. just seems like a missed opportunity for just play. hummm... maybe using a tiny dremel, one could make little indents and glue tiny magnets into the body of the doll. then using some kind of super thin magnetic film (perhaps like you used to make your rooms have magnetic walls?) for backing on the fashion clothing? you could still use all the props from the original playsets, just given a little light re-engineering for longevity. ;)

So for those of you who are not from a fashion background these are called flats or flat specs the outfit separately are flat-specs this are stages of designing when designers we design we would made a flat-specs to see how the garments are looking in flat surfaces it is different from illustration and croquis cause illustration are how they would look on a 3d models if the 3d model have a dynamic pose or a pose that is taken while the wearer is moving you can see how it will draped on the body how the cascade of the fabric will either hug or fall on the silhouette of the body and these are known as flat-specs because they're in a stage where we will be giving our designs to the cutter and taylor and we would draw a flat spec the flat of the garment to indicate where they will be cuttings, designs added, zippers and what not
