Loved this video. I love the idea of camping but have zero intention of going 😆 I can’t face the idea of needing the loo in the night and having to go outside to get to the shower block 🤣 I wish I was more adventurous 😆 Your set up is fabulous, that A4 drawer set up is amazing, you are really putting your organising skills to good use. I look forward to enjoying camping through you

Great information. Great video 👌🏼 I lasted one night on an air mattress, then bought an already made foam mattress from Clark Rubber, as I too keep my bed in place through the whole trip. I only have room for a single, it was less than $100 and is brilliantly comfy🛌 While it does have a cover I put a quilt cover on it to protect and to wash easily once home. Pat for Freddy🐾💕

We have a little doggy kit for each of our dogs in the car with a lead (we replace the leads every year so they don't fall apart from wear and tear as we've seen others have their leads fall apart in the middle of a walk many times), a choke chain (as a backup as they have their collars on all the time), seat belts, poop bags, microfibre towel (the ones from kmart in the dog section as they are nice and small but really absorbent) and a collapsible bowl so we can fill it with water if we need to. And we have this set up in each of our cars and also my mothers car for when she has the dogs too. It's come in handy many times!

How fun! This brings me back to my Renaissance Fair camping days. I had a tent setup much like yours, although I opted for a cot rather than an air mattress because it was much warmer not being directly on the ground. My favorite accessory, though, was extra large binder clips-I used those for everything from hanging lanterns to attaching shade flys to my tent. 👍

Oh that sounds awesome! I need to get some heavy duty clips from the hardware to hold things like tarps - my latest challenge is to make a tarp tipi tent 😅 the things you can learn from YT!!! There’s a tent camping set up tour coming soon just need to finish editing it 🏕♥️

@@TheSundayStylist Neat--can't wait to see it! Several of the people I camped with made their own tents out of large outdoor umbrellas, with a stake to hold the pole and "walls" of heavier fabric that attached to the umbrella and then were staked out to give more floor room. You have a pole in the middle of your tent, but it set up in no time flat. A couple of the walls could be taken down during the day or pulled outward to create a shade fly.

It's so much easier camping in the back of the car - I put the tent up in this video just to film an 'organised tent camping tour' but I love the convenience of not having to out up and more so pack away a tent - especially if it's wet/damp/dirty - it takes ages to clean everything first - none of that with the car camping!!!

I really like the idea of your sharing your journey and ideas! Especially with ideas that are not permanent attachments. I think you mentioned getting a power bank or battery maybe in the future, but I wanted to recommend the Halo battery for your car. I got gifted one from my dad for the car years ago and it has been wonderful. Compact, holds a long charge if you need to charge anything without running your car and if you ever need a jump start? Easiest way to jump your car when you are off on your own. I think the newer ones even offer a way to air up tires.

New subscriber. I love your bins. In the USA I have never seen tops like that. But then again 99% of our stuff is Chinese garbage. Love your fire pit. In the USA we dont have any that look like that but would cost here a minimum $50. Yeah, we dont have the strucket bucket either. When I was a child back in the 70s our items either were made here or in Japan. Today 99% of our stuff comes from China. I watch a lady in Japan her day-to-day life and me and she has some of the coolest stuff. In Japan seems so far advanced than America. I think the USA Would’ve been a lot farther ahead if we would’ve stayed with buying our stuff from Japan. But when you’re a citizen you have no control it’s the people with money That dictate how you live

I've been trying to work that out myself!!! One can so far has lasted each of the trips I have been on to cook for one person for 2 nights/three days but I am curious how many hours of burn time each one gets and if a more expoensive propane stove would be more cost effective. The butane cans are really cheap though - 4 cans for around $5 here...

I use to do the full air mattress but it takes up the whole floor of the vehicle and leaves no room for any cargo around the sides, now I just use a self inflating sleeping pad, with a thick sleeping bag its more than enough cushion. It;s still fun to watch someone else doing it - maybe you'll get inspired to give it a try one day - it's how I got started by watching other women doing it on KZitem♥

Hi there! Nigel and I love to car camp. When we get back from Australia we are buying a RAV4! We bought a generator that works great and it's the size of a car battery. So, like if a wombat attacks... will Freddie be ok????

Haha attack of the killer wombats...watch out for the drop bears!!!! The RAV 4 is great with the way the seats fold almost 100% flat - there would be plenty of room for two to sleep in the back as well!!!

When it's packed up it stacks behind the back seats - I will have to make a video about it as it's a great car packing system!!!
