Great review - I love DD Tarps I have the 4x4 for just a teeny bit of room while hammock camping - The other tarp which is also fantastic is Aqua Quest Defender in any size - I mostly take the DD tarps with me when I go out, I never had a single issue and I really enjoy having all of that space the 4x4 offers -

I have 2 of these for hiking and bike camping, love em. 2 Fav setups, the plow point quick overnighter. Modified A-Frame for multi-night camping.

DD Hammocks and AquaQuest are my favorite tarps. I put elastic loops on the tie outs to extend the life of the tarps. You’ll get many adventures out of that, sir. Well done.

I have the very same one. One of the best pieces of kit I’ve bought. Just about any weather condition and it hasn’t failed me or gotten me wet 😂

That's the exact tarp I've been using for years, although mine has started leaking so need to try a repair soon. Don't think I ever tried that setup though. How are you planning to pack it, fold, roll or stuff? Thanks for filming, Andy

Nice tarp. Rather than using your pole inside try hooking a rope onto one of the loops on it's back then back to a tree, same effect, but keeps the inside clear. Good video...

Great video. Looks a good bit of kit, especially the securing points. I got one last week as a replacement for an old, well used tarp. Very pleased with it although I’m going to use my old ridge line & I’ve already improved the guy lines that came with the new DD.

Thanks for the comment. I,ve already replaced the pegs and the guylines that came with it . can't wait to get back out to the forest to give it a real test setup for an overnight camp 👍

@@Yorkshireoutdoorsandsurvival Yeah the pegs are light weight BUT I think the bigger pegs I used on my last tarp had too good a grip on the planet & that caused damage to the tarp 🤷♂️ I use pre-made toggles from doweling Ridge line has a bowline loop, toggle, 3 Prusiks (first 2 with toggles), toggle & stop knot. Quick to put up and no knots required.
