Car ka purpose simple hai, will appeal to people who want a flashy car. Boot is bigger because the rear seat space is very much limited by curve roofline. Rear seat in this one is just not that great. Which is the whole point, it’s a drivers car. That’s about it. It’s neither that spacious nor that large for the segment it wanna compete with. People joke how Creta is a venue pro and how Alcazar is an exter pro max. But can you believe it all Tata cars now look same. Punch, Nexon, curve, harrier and safari look same from front lol.

Kudos to TATA for developing such a great engine... I believe this very engine can be more powerful but tata has just tuned down the power for family and daily use purposes... probably they have something in store for us where the actual powerful version of this and 1.5l tgdi would be used just like mahindra makes different engines by just changing the tuning of MStallian... Also not to mention the cut down in SERVICE COST !!! Bravo, a great product for middle class and serious adults and not the funky youths who just wanna show off their speed...

At 9.25, in Sport mode the gear shifts are delayed compared to Eco or City mode. This is the correct behaviour. In Sport mode car the diesel engines revs upto 3000 rpm to get the max acceleration from that gear.

Still not to the extent of Creta Seltos. They have been the segment leader and they will continue to be.

They are conventional cars which have been around for longer so much so that Creta is in its 4th generation... Tata knows where the biggest demand is what that segment wants... It is the owners of Nexon, Venue, Brazza, Urban Cruiser, Fronx, Sonet etc, that have to shell out a lot more money (nearly 5 to 6 lakh more) to get a bit more space with a few more features... Curvv bridges that gap with coupe design which gives it style and with heck a lot more features and Tata's safety proposition which is far beyond any other brand! Plus this platform ie Atlas, allows you to build much bigger cars so in the coming years, if Tata comes up with 1.5 litre turbo petrol with 4 cylinders, and a much bigger Curvv which is taller and even more feature loaded and safe, I won't be surprised!
