Absolutely! I made my first tea with just one green and one black tea bag, 2 cups of water to steep, and then added rosemary and spearmint oils when it cooled and saw IMMEDIATE results!! Now I add some amla, about a tsp in with the tea bags, steep overnight, and add my oils. I keep it in the fridge, and it is an amazing scalp and strands refresher between washes! I use a dropper to apply directly on my scalp and massage in, then I put a small amount of deep conditioner in the palm of my hand and add the tea to it to my desired thickness for refreshing my curls. Definitely speeds growth and reduces shedding dramatically, and with the amla, I saw dormant follicles wake up like crazy!!! But I learned all of these from your channel first!!! Thank you #curlyproverbz !!

Can’t wait to see this 😜 wow your hair looks amazing 🤩 Green tea is my ride or die, I’ve been using BBO’s green tea for almost years now, I can honestly say I don’t use it regularly because I’m low porosity and it tends to make my hair dryer than I prefer. It’s already a struggle for me to retain moisture . To make a long story short, I went back to using it faithfully 2 -3 times a week because I had a horrible wash day with an excessive amount of shedding. By the time I got to my next wash day (a week later). My shedding was pretty much none existing. So yes for me green tea is the ish😜😛🧐 love it!

@@Leah_Tewari sorry just saw 👀 ur message, I usually just don't make it as strong, I use like maybe a teaspoon in 8-10 oz of water let it sit for hour or 2 freeze most of it in ice trays keep enough out to use 2-3 days of refreshing. I spritz from root to tip like 2 to 3 sprays per twist ( I just got a multi pack of blue glass spray bottles and roller bottles from Amazon that have a fine mist really nice not alot comes out) then use my cream, then my diy oil or str8 castor oil then a butter and retwist. I never leave my hair out. Its always in twist. I average 6-9 twist. I'm lazy braids to me take to long to take down.

Isn't He amazing! After surgery my hormones just went crazy and I went from long, lusterous hair to short, broken off, dry brittle hair. I went into shock. I couldn't believe my hair was no more. I asked God to give me a miracle and restore my hair. Well, He didn't wave His hand and make my hair long again, but all of a sudden, every time I went on KZitem, there was a video sitting on the side of the screen about growing hair. Curly Proverbs was one of them. The crazy thing was, I never looked up a video on growing hair online! It was like God was saying, "My miracles are for things you cannot do yourself, like restoring sight to the blind, making the lame walk. THIS you can do yourself, here, take these tools and get to work." My hair is now longer than before the surgery. I am now focused on thickening also. God bless!

Hi ladies ... I mistakenly commented through my ministry page (KingdomLife). For the hair tea, I just take whatever liquid and put it in a big jar (32 or 64oz) and add whatever dried herbs are on my mind. I use aloe juice in the jug from walmart OR the water you get when you rehydrate sea moss. I put the herbs directly in or in cheese cloth, don't heat it, and let it sit on the table at room temp overnight. I don't use the same herbs, but whatever I use, there is always rosemary, green/black tea, fenugreek seeds and roses or hibiscus. I lightly spritz my hair with it every morning, just enough to manipulate it. Hope this helps!

Hello Faridah, I made a hair tea using Rosemary, Thyme (two teaspoons of each) and Fenugreek seeds (5 tablespoons). I boiled these ingredients in water for about 10-15 minutes and let the tea steep for a little under 5 hours. It came out pretty dark, a dark brown colour, and when I applied it as a leave-in to my hair, and especially my scalp, it caused my head to feel a little strange and woozy. I woke up still feeling the effects. I think perhaps I have not put as much water into the mix as I should have, to balance out the strength of the ingredients. In any case, I was wondering how normal all this is??? I'm thinking of just switching back to my regular spray bottle mix, as the tea has me a little concerned. Would you have any advice on this?

Love the combinations of teas. I made one with henna, fenugreek and earl grey. My question is about the application. I originally thought I could use as a spritz, but found that even after straining, the sediment that remained left it too thick to get through the nozzle. What is the best way to apply? Since this should be discarded after 10 days, I'm assuming this without be for daily use??? Or should this be rinsed out? If you could place usage information in the description box, that would be so appreciated. Thank you for all of your scholarship on this!

Ok, so update. I might believe that my eyes are deceiving me and my thin spots are not as filled in as before if it wasn't for the fact that my shedding stopped IMMEDIATELY! I mean, NO HAIR IN MY HANDS AT ALL!! Three days ago, I couldn't touch my hair without it coming off in tufts. This tea combination WORKS. For context, I am in menopause so my hair had started thinning out like crazy. I am so grateful for a natural remedy. THANK YOU 🙌🏾🙏🏾💖

I had the same problem with my spray bottle. I found that when I used a muslin cloth or tights to strain the tea, I could then use it in the spray bottle.

@meechie me Thanks! I started using a coffee filter inside strainer, and that helped a lot too 😊

Great video! Just want to know if you can spray the teas and leave it in or does have to be rinsed? If you leave in how many days can you spray it in your hair. I’m a bit confused about that.

After you shampoo, put the tea on your hair for 10-15 minutes then wash out. Because some might made your hair dry you should do a moisturizing condition afterwards.

Fantastic video! Will definitely have to add these tea rinses to my regimen! Quick question: may someone spell out the powder she introduces at 11:35? The auto-CC says "jetta massey", but I cannot find any results for the powder when I google that 😅

Am I able to mix some of the ingredients from the first tea with henna and fenugreek? Or will this make the tea a little to strong?
