Northern Lite is my first choice for a truck camper but I will look into Scout Camper first. I like your camper.

Yeah northern lite makes a great camper. I've seen the scouts and I myself are interested in them. But they're two different breeds of camper. Just gotta figure out which one suits you best.

6 minutes of driving and nothing, and you didn’t even film any of the buying or loading of the camper... why? Kind of ridiculous

Whats the cargo capacity of your truck and what is the weight of your camper?
@UprootedAdventures
4 жыл бұрын
The payload is 4,500lbs but the glove box truck camper number is different which says 3,751lbs. And the dry weight is 2,625lbs on the camper and has a wet weight number as well of 2,921lbs. Honestly barely know it's there. Of course you can't escape the height and COG that's comes with that. It'll still remind you its there, but truck handles it really well. Really happy with this combo!

I certainly enjoyed your video and your camper is very nice. I’m wondering why you went from Roswell, NM to Brownsville, TX to get to Seabrook, TX. Maybe you meant another town that sounded like Brownsville. Thank you again for the content.

@@bradyodom4404 haha no, no reason to take me all the way down there. I would hope I would notice if I was heading in that far out of a way direction haha. But thank you, and happy belated Thanksgiving to you too!

Nice camper, I own an Arctic Fox. If I ever switch it would be to a Northern Lite or Bigfoot. I really like the molded fiberglass construction, i think they will hold up better in the long run. Looking forward to seeing the modifications you do for full-time living.

Oh nice, yeah I wanted a artic fox for the longest time, but decided I didn't want to carry around that much weight, this camper is only 2900lbs wet weight. I really like the big foot to, but it has a short queen bed and im 6'2" haha, so kind of ruled that out. But the northern lite just checked everything I wanted on off the list. And I'm really happy with it so far. Currently outfitting it with stuff we need. But I'm sure I'll get more as we go along and fine tune things.

Thanks! I thought long and hard between single wheel or dually. And I'm happy I went with the dually. I know a single wheel will handle it. But barely even notice it's there with this dually.

@@UprootedAdventures that is awesome! You're going to love your Northern Lite, very high quality camper! We're in the process of getting something a little bigger (with a slide) and from what I can tell, it looks like you guys downsized from the Eagle Cap 😄 Funny how that works! We look forward to watching some of your other videos! Let us know if you ever come East, we're in Georgia. The scenery is very different from the west but there are lots of nice places to visit here.

@@RunawayRoses Oh no way haha, I can see keeping something bigger for a weekend rig for the extra room. But we will be full timing it, and kinda want to be more nimble and stealthy. It has plenty of room for us and we love it. But the dual slide eagle cap was amazing other then it drove like a wobbly tank haha. And we have air bags and hellwig sway bar. It handled it, but you'll definitely know it's there! And there's a good chance will be heading to Florida area this winter, so will definitely let you know! But We plan to hit all the states at some point though.
