Thank you for this channel and for the content that you have on here. I am beginning to learn more regarding the history of different composers as well as the reason some of their pieces exist. I am doing this because I have re-discovered a passion for classical music through relearning to play Piano after experiencing health issues with my hands. I have a request: please include more content involving music from various groups such as African-Americans, Asian Americans, Native Americans, etc. I know that music during our early history as a country includes some sounds from various groups. I just wish that I could find more about them. I love your channel. I hope it continues to grow!

Thank you for this channel. I have a request. Could you provide more videos about Black composers and or musicians? There are many who composed music in the classical era (such as joseph chevalier de saint georges), among others. Include African, Caribbean, Native American, etc. music. Students need to know that others made contributions noteworthy of remembering.

Is there a chance that you could do a video on how Beethoven makes his ninth symphony scherzo sound like an Allegro in 2/4 time, even though on paper, it switches from triple meter in the Scherzo section to duple meter in the trio section? Because I certainly feel a 2/4 accent pattern of S w S w as the measures go by. I wouldn't expect you to do a video on the entirety of Beethoven's ninth, since that would probably mean an hour long video, but, out of all the movements of Beethoven's ninth, the Scherzo is my favorite.

This was super-informative, thank you! I wanted a little background on this piece after hearing the amazing pirate fantasy mash-up "From the Wonderland" that ATEEZ did with the New World Symphony's Fourth Movement and their hit song Wonderland, and this was perfect~

Even saying that apart of Sym9 is vaguely similar to Swing Low Sweet Chariot is a stretch, saying, "looks a LOT like" is just ridiculous.

man are you playing those melodies by aural recollection rather than reading the rhythms on the music? how can you understand dissecting pieces of art music so well, and butcher most of the examples rhythmically ?
