Cat Anderson, whose full name was William Alonzo Anderson, was a renowned jazz trumpeter known for his technical skill and ability to play extremely high notes. He was born on September 12, 1916, in Greenville, South Carolina, and died on April 29, 1981. His musical career stood out mainly for his collaboration with the Duke Ellington Orchestra, one of the most important and influential jazz bands. of history.
