Oh man, I never imagined that I would see Joe Torre as manager of the Yankees again, although it is a spring training game, it is something special, many good memories from another era. Rodon was fantastic although I would have liked it more if the Phillies had had their main lineup.

Carlos Rodon pitched well. It is always good to see Joe Torre managing i miss him being a Yankees manager he knows how to use the line-up.

The time where we really needed Joe Torre for very good advice had happened and it’s very special to see him back as number 6 on the Yankees to be as the manager of the day. And also good for him not having to use a cane to help him walk, this shows he really knows what he’s doing in his life to keep himself very healthy. This legend is in his 80s to this day and he’s an important piece of baseball history

Dan at YA, thanks again for the very good spring training coverage. Also, I see the Rodon haters have crawled back under their rocks. He certainly has a position in the pitching rotation.

There’s never anything certain in baseball except it will rain some days. They do not have a lock on anything. The first couple of months were gangbusters last season and then it all fell apart. I’m going to be on edge til September.

I am sick and tired of hearing about how a Yankee reliever is going to be designated as the one in the pen who can give them multiple innings blah blah blah The only pitcher in recent memory who actually did that was M. King and that's it. The last thing I want to see is for Loaisiga to be that guy to pitcher 2 innings plus and then have to miss 3 games to recover. His stuff is great for that 1 inning & then being available the following game
