The word 'EPIC' is used to describe so many things these days where really, honestly... the word 'GREAT' or...' GOOD' would be more appropriate. EPIC should be kept to describe only the truly greatest events. I can honestly say.... I believe it has been used in it's purest form to describe your movie! I was blown away by it. And not just for the content ( which itself is EPIC in its own right! ) but the skill in the flight techniques... the scene reveals, movements... exposure... etc etc... It really is THE best by far I've ever seen. Congratulations on a PROPER EPIC production!

Just to add a little tidbit, I really think more people should put timestamps for viewers just in case they don't have time to watch the complete video,(kind of selfish though isn't it?) I started to do that same thing as I was reading the timestamps, then I thought "why be selfish, watch the complete video, it's all very exciting. The colors of the leaves as they turn, why miss the good parts"? The mountains, the lakes, the desert scenery. I could visit New Zealand but, I can't afford it like most of us, I have a decent Desktop PC with surround sound speakers and a 23" monitor, if that's not enough, I have a "Mavic Mini", and if that's gets boring I can get out my Mavic AIR 2S, I took delivery of that November 11, 2021 and haven't flown it yet, I haven't even taken it out and assembled it yet, the prices to register it and get a pilot's license are ridiculous here in Michigan. I've probably bored you to tears, I'd love to do some videoing with my drones but as I stated in my previous comment, 'money has gotten in the way'. Thanks again for all you do to prepare these videos to upload to youtube to share with all of us, you're very kind. I hope you have a great day.

F*CKING. STUNNING. Been waiting a while for another vid from you. Excellent shots. Excellent timing. Excellent music. Got the chills like 10 times. Can't wait for the next one. ((By the way, does youtube limit frame rates for older videos or can uploaders control that via preferences..? Reason I'm asking is because this video, watched 1/26/2019 on a 4k tv with a powerful home theater PC, is flawlessly smooth. No choppiness or jumps at all. Your Canada: True North video (one of my other favorites from you) watched right before and after this...is noticeably choppy. Figure youtube or the channel owners might do that with certain videos to manage bandwidth. Thoughts?))
@ManAndDrone
5 жыл бұрын
Hi Devin, Thanks mate! So the choppy videos i.e. the Canada one is because I Interpreted the footage down from 30fps to 24fps in Premiere without using a correct retiming method. Had I used the correct retime method it might've made it a little smoother. 24 + 25fps will be less smooth than 30fps anyway. KZitem also add a smoothing technique in their compression so this often makes 30fps look even more silky, I don't know when they implemented this though probably after that Canada video but not sure. I'm not a fan of KZitem as they're aggressive buffering and this added smoothing, but there's really nowhere else I could share a video this big on.. My Vimeo only allows 5GB per week.
