Need another exhibition game to happen. Usa rugby has definitely evolved in the past few years. With some fantastic talent coming through. Time for another game.

Actually correct name for this code of rugby game is Rugby Football Union and Second code is Rugby Football Leauge , name rugby Football comes from origin of sport footballl, in beginning of game football you could kick ball tackle players and get ball in the hand and trow, so some school begin use some rules for game so one school allow only play ball by legs so Assocation Football was made another allow use of hand and tackle, most famous school allowing to use hand was school from town Rugby in England so its called Rugby Football wich later brake in two diffrent codes Union and Leauge.

Good old story here, Just need to say that America with all it amazing athletic talent could someday become Rugby world champions!! As a kiwi I'm glad all the killer athletes play basket ball, baseball, hockey and Gridiron otherwise the USA like in most sports would be unstoppable!!

Kazmo NZ,what do you mean most sports?,they cant even dominate there own sports.Look at baseball,america aint the world champs the Netherlands are,look at ice hockey,america aint the world champs Sweden are,see what i mean they cant even dominate there own games only basketball.Just to rub it in a bit more,Americas cup-New Zealand,Softball-New Zealand,they havent even had a decent heavyweight boxer since Mike Tyson in fact New Zealands Joseph Parker is probably better than any heavyweight theyve got.The Jamaicans run rings around them.These are only some examples of how overrated america is in sport only by americans who need to get there heads out of there backsides and stop thinking theyre better than they really are.For there population they are actually quite useless at sport and they think they would dominate rugby if they took it serious,hahaha dream on.

Kazmo NZ it’s going to take a long time for the U.S.A to build up the depth of talent (that the main Rugby nations have) if they’re going to compete with top teams, It was the same with Italy when they joined the 6 nations, it’s taken them 20plus years to build the school boy to elite leagues the will feed the national team.

The moderns sports of Gridiron, Rugby (Union & League) and Soccer all share the same roots. Gridiron existed separately before there was even that much of a notable distinction between the other two (besides being able to carry the ball, obviously). Go check out old school Gridiron - they wore no pads, their 'helmets' were just leather caps that look like modern Rugby headgear (but less padded) and they went hard at it. Similar to League, the only reason why Gridiron even really came to exist in the US is because Rugby players wanted to professionalise and get PAID to play instead of being expected to put their bodies on the line for nothing.

+Tom Booker RawrEmily2021 The correct technical term for Rugby is _Rugby Football_. Rugby originated out of _European Football_ or as most of us know it, soccer. So we end up with Rugby Football. as for Tom, the person who has no clue, is you lol.
@DezzaraeOBHAYVE201530

Very true! I think why they didn't use the term Rugby football is maybe because it could possibly confuse people? I mean like you have american football and football, or in other words soccer. Despite rugby football being the correct term for the sport, I personally think Rugby is the best term for the sport.

Didn't have a chance to go to the game as I was a bit hard up on cash but I just wanted to mention that there are different names given to this game depending on where your from . We back home ( Aotearoa aka NZ ) just call it rugby. I think the northern hemisphere call it rugby football and the Aussies ( Aust.) call it rugby union to differentiate the game with the other offshoot of rugby which is call rugby league. The two games are different in some ways but are very similar as rugby league is a bastard child of rugby Lol!!!!
