I loved the sugar rush giggles. They are so delicious you can't eat one and have to have S'more. Try them with a Reese's cup instead of a chocolate bar......or any favorite chocolate. I like chocolate with caramel in the center. MMMMMM Also, the marshallows are wonderful just toasted and eaten that way. I like to get them a perfect golden brown so the outside is crunchy toasted and the inside still gooey. Look up recipes for graham cracker crust. We use them, crushed up and then mixed with melted butter, packed into the bottom of a pie tin for the crust of cheese cakes, cream pies, etc.

"Graham cracker" is a whole-wheat biscuit (in NZ terms) invented by a somewhat insane 19th-century nutritionist named Graham, for reasons that probably aren't appropriate for all ages. Let's just say that he thought his pure wheat biscuits would prevent young boys from engaging in certain pastimes. Regardless, it's a really tasty semi-sweet biscuit that goes amazingly well with cinnamon, or with s'mores, or as the crust of a cheesecake.

There are lots of ways to do them ... my personal favorite is to burn the marshmallow and then put them together but you can also use chocolate Graham crackers too. Try different kinds of chocolate as well ... chocolate with nuts, chocolate with mint, milk chocolate, dark chocolate, anything you think sounds good. And Graham crackers are a sweet cracker which can be used to make pie crusts. And here is the ultimate ... make a Graham cracker crust, mix up the browie mix and pour it on top, bake as directed, let that cool for a while (so they can be cut later) then place mini marshmallows on top and put under the broiler till they're browned and mushy, cut into pieces.

Wow! You just brought back so many good childhood memories to thousands of Americans. And yes, they are called S'mores because once you have one you want s'more. Graham (typically just pronounced gram) crackers are a specific type of cracker, usually slightly sweetened with honey, hence the honey grahams are usually used for s'mores. There is also a version that's coated with sugar and cinnamon that are very good; however, not as good for s'mores. Other companies are starting to use graham more often in their products, such as Goldfish crackers which were always mostly just a cheddar cracker, now has a vanilla cupcake flavored graham edition.

When I was growiing up, no girl scout troop camping trip was complete without a campfire and s'mores. Being good scouts, we also made our own sit-upons to sit on around the campfire! (To make a sit-upon, you get a stack of folded-in-half newspapers several inches high. Cut 2 pieces of naughahyde or other thick waterproof material in a square several inches larger on all sides than the stack of newspapers. Put both squares together and punch holes in a straight line about and inch and a half apart and an inch or two in from the edge all the way around the perimeter of the 2 squares. keeping them together so the holes will line up. Put down one piece of naughahyde with the inner side facing up, center the stack of newspapers on it, then top with the other piece of naughahyde with the inner side next to the newspapers. Using any waterproof cord, whipstitch through the holes all the way around the square and tie off the cord when you get back to the starting point. And you have your sit-upon. Keep it in the trunk of your car handy for anyplace you go where you need to sit on the ground.) If you get a chance, also use the Graham crackers to make a pie crust - just crush them and press them all over the bottom and sides of your pie plate - look up some recipes online. They're best with cold/no bake pies. You can also use a shot glass to press a spoonful down into the bottom of small paper muffin cups that you've lined a mini-muffin tin with. Then fill those with cheesecake filling and top with the fruit from a can of cherry or blueberry pie filling and refigerate the whole pan. Later that evening you will be in heaven with Netflix and that pan of mini cheesecakes!

It's great to see an actual authentic s'more being tried. Usually people in other countries have to substitute at least one ingredient which, while it is understandable, does not lead to an accurate taste test.

It does not taste the same as a s’more, but you can microwave the marshmallow and kneed it between your fingers while it is still melty (be careful, it’s hot) and it kinda forms into taffy!

Recently found your channel. Enjoying it. We love our s’mores. I grew up in Alabama (a southeastern US state) and we had our own twist we called “Alabama S’more” … marshmallow on a generous smear of peanut butter on a saltine cracker baked in the oven long enough to brown the marshmallow. I think it was just Mom’s way of giving us a treat on Saturday nights that did not involve a campfire, but we loved them as much as the traditional s’more. And, if you want to go crazy, you could add peanut butter to the more traditional s’more.

We also like to use Rolos, Reese's Peanutbutter Cups or other candy bars as well as the plain milk chocolate....or marshmallow fluff and chocolate cake frosting for the non-campfire version 🙂

Hello guys, I just watch the video where you try s’mores for the first time. Here in America, we also eat graham crackers with peanut butter spread over them. It is very yummy, and I think you would like it. Keep up the funny and excellent videos.

😂 Family sugar high, so much fun! I call them Gram Crackers. As I child I had them with S’mores. But also loved them plain with milk, still do, that’s why I don’t buy them, I like them too much 😊.Plus the Gram Crackers are used as a base for crusts for many pies, like Cheesecake. Love your precious family 🥰.

Nothing funnier than an entire family in the middle of a sugar rush. I was laughing almost as much as you were. Best video to date! And as of today I’ve watched quite a few. Keep it up. Especially the Sugar Rush.

S’mores always me think of learning how to make them in Girl Scouts “Brownies” as a child. Two is my limit!! No camping or lake outting is complete without this treat!! Even though you can technically make them in the oven, nothing matches roasting the marshmallows on an open fire 🔥

S’mores are an American campfire tradition for sure. Glad you guys enjoyed them, next time try warming the Hershey bar to the point where it starts to melt a bit then put peanut butter on the other side it’s awesome! Kinda like a graham cracker / Reese’s sandwich!

Another variation to try: I love hot marshmallow on cold chocolate. Next time try refrigerating the Hershey's before. Gives it a good crunch. Also, I really like Dark Chocolate Hershey's instead of milk on my s'mores 😉.

It was so awesome to see your family’s first reaction to trying s’mores! I make mine the exact same way that you did the first time only before it gets too gooey, I stick it all the way in the flame and get a nice char all the way around. The taste is out of this world 😋

“The Graham Cracker originated in the United States in the mid-19th century, with commercial development from about 1880. It is eaten as a snack food, usually honey, cinnamon-flavored or chocolate and is used as an ingredient in some foods. The graham cracker was inspired by the preaching of Sylvester Graham who was part of the 19th-century temperance movement. He believed that minimizing pleasure and stimulation of all kinds. His followers were called Grahamites and formed one of the first vegetarian movements in America; graham flour, graham crackers, and graham bread were created for them. Graham neither invented nor profited from these products.” - Wiki

Your family is so much fun! I'm happy that you enjoyed the s'mores. 1. Your marshmallows were perfectly cooked 2. Yes we do pronounce graham as "gram" in USA 3. Try with any of your favorite chocolate. 😊 Peanut butter cups or Nutella are very popular alternatives to the Hershey bar 4. Digestive biscuits I think are the closest to graham crackers? Any plain biscuit will work. 5. Pretty sure they are named "some more" because, just like you discovered, 1 is not enough 😊
