Howdy ya’ll. I was recently reading about the largest cities in Colonial America before the first census [which occurred officially in 1790]. According to the mainstream narrative, in 1776, Newport, Rhode Island, was the 5th largest city in America, by population.
I decided to dive into the history of Newport, and what I found not only goes hand in hand with the history of nearby Providence, Rhode Island (of which I’ve made an earlier video), but Newport actually appears to have played a very key role in the history of early America, and it had a STAR FORT.
Today we will look at the oldest photographs of Newport, Rhode Island, while discussing the currently accepted narrative.
