the guiitar is good but the bass is just on another level

I think the album cover is one of Picasso's sketches for the painting.

Miyu is a master. He is an equal to Haruka on his instrument. I honestly think he is the best, period.

He is probably my favourite bass player, although Haruka might be my favourite guitarist as well. But yes, if I had to pick one of the members of this band, I would pick Miyu no question. That said, I tend to focus on bass and drums when I listen to music the first time, so I am probably a bit biased.

Yep, I also find that they come across much more emotional, especially with their 'simpler' or somewhat more open melodies (no idea how to describe it differently). And the live version amplifies that by the 'missing' layers even more. Miyu is just as much a beast on the bass as Haruka is on the guitar. 🔥🤘🏻 _____________________ _"Sometimes we laugh because we're sad or to hide our frustration"_ - from *Gacharic Spin* -「 I Wish I 」 🎶✨

"Gunfire" is one of my favorite from "Guernica". As you said, Hal-ca is faster than light but I'm always hypnotized by Miyu basslines. He's so versatile and that bass looks so small in his hands. With the 4 string one, it even looks like a toy 😅 Shout out to Mio, my man from the shadows 🥁💪🏻

Let's dive into the beautiful. Hal-Ca's playing style reminds many of Hendrix and Zakk Wald. And I think this manner is inspired by their technique, but the inner core is only Haruka herself. Someone like her is born once every 10 years.

It's just incredible how Miyu makes that bass seem kind of tiny, I just get so used to seeing him handle that enormous 7-string surfboard. But anyway, it's a brilliant song and they're all phenomenal players.

That made me think of Boh (Kami Band bassist). Sometimes I wonder if he's got kind of small hands, but these 7 strings are just huge 😂

@@react-o-mat Yeah BOH's pretty nuts as well. Just that with him somehow it doesn't look *as* huge (still quite big). It's just that there's videos with a very young Miyo and his bass, BOH I only know as a fully grown man XD

@@guybrushthreepwood1519 LOL could he even reach the top frets? 😅

@@react-o-mat You can see it on Asterism's Channel, Sacrifice ~ 155 is from 8 years ago, and they are seriously young then. Miyu's already rocking a huge bass, I think that would make him around 15 years old (I think, honestly can't remember his age right now).

@@guybrushthreepwood1519 if you mean the one from 2014 he was 12 years old. He is 21 now.
