Had the exact surgeries in 07. The barium sonogram thing will make you sticky and you’ll need a bath after. The iliostomy was great til the muscles wouldn’t stop flexing. If yours start doing that sit in a warm bath. I used to sleep in it. Good Luck!!! 🍀

Your looking and sounding great! Once you have your surgery, you’ll be starting a new journey. But hang in there it gets better with time. My surgery was July 9th and I’m still on the path of improving. But I did come down with peripheral neuropathy.👎🏻 My finger tips are always cold and my feet are numb. But this isn’t something that happens to everyone. My oncologist just gave me a prescription for a cream to apply to my fingers, and set me up with a neurologist for my feet. You’ll be in my prayers. 🙏🙏🌹🌹

I have that exact same issue. It started about 2 months after chemo ended and still isn't improving. It's annoying for sure. Oddly it's the least of the stresses right now. Thank you for your encouragement and prayers. You're incredible in my eyes!

If no one mentioned this, you should add “depends” to your list of things to take to the hospital. Your body has to relearn a few things. You’ll do great!🙏🌹

@@edgrabousky9995 it is definitely on my shopping list for this weekend. Hey, I was thinking, I'd really like to connect with you on an easier chat status. Do you have Facebook? I found an "ed Grabousky" on Facebook but I have no idea if it's you. You're kind of like my lifeline right now who can relate to what I'm about to experience and I'd like to have some easier contact with you if you're willing.

I take effexor for menopause and anxiety. 150mg. Started with a low dose and built up to 150. Prolly been taking for 10 years with no issues. I have always had anxiety as well and this has really helped. I was very tired at first and took a bit to get used to the flatter/even feeling. I was so used to feeling the ups and downs of anxiety that feeling even keeled felt odd. I love it now and will keep taking as I feel so much better.

Thank you for this hope! My doctor started me on 37.5mg so I'm very low dose right now but we will see how it goes. Thank you again.
