I think the talk about the Chargers being a very run heavy team is overblown coach speak. The teams that lead the league in rushing % every year generally have good defenses, terrible QBs, or QBs that are used in the run game. The chargers dont tick any of those boxes, so as much as harbaugh might want to run a lot, game script, efficiency, and the desire to win games wont make a top 5 rushing % offense viable. Just my 2 cents.

I agree in principle but Harbaugh barely threw at Stanford (46% pass rate) with Andrew Luck, at Michigan with JJ McCarthy - both top 10 picks Everything they've said, everything they've done indicates running is coming. Not saying they'll be dead last in the NFL but bottom 10 seems like a certainty imo

Very high on Ryan Grubb. If Saban could have pulled him from Deboer prior to 2023 season, Alabama would have likely won the NC last year. I know he has zero NFL experience, but his offense is really fun to watch and I’m pretty sure he is a speed motion guy - similar to McDaniels, McVay, LaFluer.

Great content! I appreciate the insight. Eyeball test I’m having a hard time getting behind the Tennessee offense because of Levis. improved offensive line, probably the greatest offensive line coach of all time. But if the quarterback plays bad doesn’t matter? I’ll probably stay away, but that will be an interesting team to watch.

The Tampa coaching staff outright said Rachaad needs to hit holes the way they’ve seen Bucky Irving do it. If the line isn’t incredibly good(which it won’t be) then you need a more elusive guy that can get to the 2nd level quickly. That’s Bucky’s game a lot more than White’s. Rachaad won’t lose his job, but you’re not gonna be happy with the process of him finishing wherever he finishes this season
@FantasyStockExchange

That would be true if he wasn't going to be the goal line back and also get 80+ targets. Rachaad White is coachable, if they're teaching him to do it a certain way he'll improve and I have a lot more faith that Barton will make a major impact. OC was easily our biggest weakness last year.

@@FantasyStockExchangeI agree on the likely Goal line work, but with Godwin moving back to the slot and the addition of Jalen McMillan as well as the pass catching ability of Bucky, I wouldn’t bank on Rachaad getting even more targets than he did last year. If anything I think he drops to maybe 55-60 targets unless Bucky just wets the bed and can’t get on the field

Jimmy G was actually the worst QB in the whole league last year if you watch his games. Raiders O actually functioned better with AOC last few weeks of season as wild as that sounds. If AOC is even a little better or Minshew are both better QB play than what they had last year. I agree I’m not targeting the pass catchers but as overall team they wont even be picking in top 10 nevermind 1st overall. Went 8-9 last year with horrible Jimmy, Hoyer for a game and a rookie 4th rd QB. D is pretty good with even a competent top 22ish O they will at least match that win total. Also for Davante, I don’t like Getzy but he does funnel targets to his #1 and they have a prior relationship.

With the raiders pass catchers, you have to factor in that AOC got ZERO run with the first team at all during the offseason. He was learning not only how a new coaching staff wanted to play with Antonio Pierce, but also learning just how his targets performed and ran routes from scratch. He’s had a full offseason now. He won’t be magnificent, but he’s not gonna fall apart

He might be solid, I like AOC to beat out minshew, maybe the offense will be functional but I find it hard to pay up for Adams - bowers, Meyers and white when they fall are solid bets

You're right I did miss that, I guess I assumed Stefanski would be calling plays. I guess the only real takeaway I'd have is the inverse of what I talked about for Buffalo, Dorsey was very pass happy, maybe the Browns put more on Watson's shoulders this year
@duketrippy933
3 ай бұрын
@@FantasyStockExchange so far the news is that they’re leaning towards Dorsey calling the plays and letting the offense run through Watson, opposed to Watson having to fit into Stefanskis outdated system. They’re going pass heavy, offense with Duce staley and Andy Dickerson as the run game guys. Should be a big season for Watson, Njoku, juedy, cooper and maybe ford in fantasy

If there's a league format where you can draft an entire backfield i would like LAC there but i don't see any one guy getting enough individual volume to be great in redraft.
