Chicago is going to have a great defense. They needed a top notch O Line man tho. They will be very good in a couple of years. Detroit should remain at the top of the North. Jamo Gibbs. Laporta will be so much better and with the revamped defense it’s going to be difficult to score over 24 points against them.

Yes, the defense should be ranked top 10 to 15 easy for Detroit. I have a feeling that Caleb will be running for his life a lot at the beginning of the season. Wish they would have kept Fields for at least one year.. If Love plays like he did at the end of last season, they’ll be Detroits Achilles Heel, I believe.. Minnesota has a lot to work on…..

And I think y’all made the right moves but the roster is worse than last season, like I said in the video y’all may have taken a slight step back overall heading into next season but in preparation to take a massive leap the following year after JJ gets some time to develop

The Roster is not worse than last year. Kirk was injured. If nothing else, we got worse at that position. Aaron Jones is an Upgrade over Mattison. Danielle left for Houston but our new hires can feel that void. They got better at Cornerback also with a year under BFlo

@@hiramlewis3873 Flores is horribly under-rated. Didn't they also lose their top-2 defensive stars last off-season? & what did he do? Raise their standing in the league by 16 spots on D. So yeah, more players with lower-level talent individually seems to be what works better in his schemes so I will not assume they are worse on D. But I don't think JJ is gonna be good right out of the gate. If I had a channel I'd do this video on how _ALL_ of Fields' negatives are 100% due to the Bears' play-calling & it does seem that the Steelers are helping him undo the bad habits he did pick up after 2 years of it. _That's_ who KOC should have gone for but the Matt Canada firing due to chanting fans made me realize that NFL coaches & GMs are as susceptible to public opinion as teens. But all one needs to do is look at his highlights next to Caleb's kzitem.info/news/bejne/loCFl4SprqJ3koo. Fields is a better rusher 7 _WAY more_ accurate passer.

I love ppl sleeping on the Vikings. QB, DL, CB have questions, but also talent. We lost Hunter but picked up van ginkel, grenard AND Turner. Pass rush is improved. The coaching and organizational coherence is widely undervalued by prognosticators. Purple will surprise.

@@suncatblue What you're *_really_** saying* is that this assessment is incomplete. but so is everyone's. It's just a degree of how much. Not all roster 'questions' are equal. Even the terms 'questionable' or all related ones aren't truly questions. Sam Darnold is a Known Quantity. This team already had three QB like him last season. He's not a tweak or three away from being a franchise or even a winning QB. He's a tier or two below Derek Carr & I wouldn't feel certain of their chances with Carr. Sometimes, leaving the unknown _as_ unknown is the better approach. I don't *expect* McCarthy to be a franchise QB day one. That doesn't mean he can't be or that I will refuse to admit it if I'm wrong. It's An Unknown.

I think the Vikings did very well in all phases since they didn't have a lot of Cap Space. They also had to loose some salary by not resigning Kirk & Danielle. The bear did well only because they have lost so much the last few seasons similar to the pre 2022 lion. You can go get Free Agents and make trades when you have Cap space. The packer have had draft picks late due to their winning

As a Vikings fan, I hate the packer but in a friendly way. Other teams should envy them because they had 2 QB's in about 30 years. They win. The fans love em. My Vikings were the only team in the division that challenged them yearly. They keep on winning now. I still hate em lol😉🏈 in a Sports fan way and not like a Dodgers vs Giants kind of way

Yeah...so "low profile" that they have played in and won just one Superbowl in 14 years with an elite QB who was multiple all-pro and MVP. Good work!! And his predecessor also won one Superbowl as a Packer QB. Definitely the most low profle franchise in the NFL! Congrats!!

I think the Bears will be improved, but just happen to be in a division with 2 SB contenders. There’s a world where going into next season 3/5-6 best QBs in the NFC will be in this division. But to take the big leap, they still need 1-2 more higher level OL and another impact pass rusher from either the 3T or Edge. Maybe they get good OL play and trade for the pass rush, but finishing with 9 wins is not a bad season. But they will be a problem over the next 2-5 since most of their talent is young and ascending.

Agreed they should finish 3rd in the division but like you said that could still be an 8 or 9 win squad with the way the NFC North looks right now. I’d like to think Amegadjie could develop into a solid left tackle but probably not quite ready this upcoming year.

CJ Gardner leaving was Detroit deciding it best to move on. He was hurt in game 2 his replacement was Iffy Melifonwu had a 85.6 which is an excellent score from PFF. Wish CJ the best and appreciate him try to return for the playoffs. Kevin Zietler is an elite pass pro as a guard and wile hes older he never misses a snap. Olineman have career years when they have elite olineman around which is exactly what happened with Glasgow last year. Detroit has the best center and tackle in football Decker is very good too. Their offense will once again be top 3. Appreciate the work though!

Liked the video guys! Keep in mind the biggest difference here overall is taking guys to play on your squad who have a "team" mentality. The media talks endlessly about the culture that GM Holmes and Coach Campbell have built. That is the key to this divisional analysis. For example the Bears signed some amazing players away from the Chargers yet did coaching guru Jim Harbaugh let some talented yet selfish veterans walk with a more long term view in mind??? FOOD FOR THOUGHT...

What crappy grade for the vikes , when they got the best nfl QB ready player n the draft , then draft the LT type potential, he's the quickest defensive player by far n the draft , for his size hes Def lineman , but might become a LB , I think c- isnt accurate . And forcing QB immediately into the game being the starter , only Marino & stoud had a good rookie yr. Letting fields walk & now Pittsburgh is now a automatic contender

If JJ comes out and starts week 1 and tears it up this grade will look awful I can’t deny. But if Darnold starts week 1 or JJ looks rough out the gate I will feel really good about this grade. I’m of the opinion JJ will need time to develop (which could be wrong) and the Vikings will take a step backward this season before getting right back in the mix the following year. And tbf we did give the Steelers a pretty good grade make sure to go check that video out too 😉 thanks for watching

@@swivelchairsportsJJ COULD start, but why? If Darnold is as good as he's looked in camp, he becomes a franchise and trade asset. Worst case he looks FINE and earns a backup deal here. Meanwhile JJ gets to perfect his craft rather than show his weaknesses in game and on film. Darnold was ALWAYS the plan to start, regardless of who got drafted. It was part of his deal to come here.

@je9950 You are SPOT ON with BC Guard drafted late. I call THE #1 STEAL of the 2024 NFL draft. The Lions GM was criticized for taking Gibbs last year as his No. 1 pick and frankly he proved EVERYONE wrong! Let these naysayers "sqwak and squeal" ...GM Brad Holmes and Coach Campbell have missed on very few of their draft picks overall in 3 years. The take talent, football IQ and guys to fit the locker room culture ...GENIUS! BC Guard Christian Mahogany has time to develop as Kevin Zeitler upgrades the Guard position hole left by Jonah Jackson. Well done Detroit Lions.
