Glad i found these videos, ive been studying Japanese for TEN Years & do need something more advanced but just like the learn Japanese series, they are fun to watch. theres just too many Beginner Lessons & not enough advanced ones.

So 80s. Quantel Paintbox video effects, Galaga noises, gated snare drums and sampling keyboards! All that stuff seemed very whiz-bang at the time. Blew the crusty old 70s away!

The video is kind of corny, but to be honest completely effective! I learned something new today in preparation for my trip to Japan. Thank you for posting this.

He might have been living in Japan for a while, I`m Scottish but find myself using Australian and American terms. Most Gaijin who have been here for a while have an amalgamated accent.

Hmm.. So you've got a bunch of racial stereotypes introducing a show about an American with an off British accent looking for a "telephone", then talking with an 80's Japanese porn star? I don't get it.
