Gotta say as a goalie I don't think the IF YOU'RE A GOAL TENDER TEND THE GOAL applies here on Wedgewood, because while he did leave the net and fall down, he was back in position and set for what would have been that shot, if it wasn't a pass instead. That's more a defensive blooper on nobody noticing and covering that side of the net and having the Stars player covered.

For the Panarin incident, it wasn’t just that he spoke out against Putin, if you’ll recall during the previous season he had to take a lengthy amount of time off after certain comments against Putin and in support of the opposition leader. Although I don’t think there’s been a confirmation for why, it’s believed he was getting his family out of Russia. Regardless of what the actual reason was though, it was 100% connected to his comments about Putin and supporting the opposition leader. So yeah, ratface probably struck a chord with Panarin. Easy to make chirps like that when you and your loved ones aren’t under threat from the FSB. Then he has the gal to talk about “the league being soft”. Btw - only 3 games for slewfooting on a repeat offender, that’s definitely a dangit too.
@chrisdirker8715
2 жыл бұрын
1: to be a repeat offender you have to have had a previous suspension, you are than put on the repeat offenders list for 18 months. Brad Marchand hasn’t been on the repeat offenders list for about 3 years now. So your point about Marchand being a repeat offender is moot. Has he slew foot before yea, did this one warrant a 3 game suspension … nope. I say this because PK Subban slew foot tripped 3 guys last month. 2 of them happened within 8 days of each other, ( look up PK Subban slew foots Trevor Zegras, and PK Subban slew foots Milan Lucic) . The 3rd happened a week or so later and it’s the worst of them all because Subban doesn’t hit leg to leg but he clipped Sammy Blais foot/skate just enough to make Blais fall awkwardly and is now out for the season with a torn acl and Subban was fined 15 k. So tell me is that fair, giving Marchands history and how he hasn’t been in any suspension trouble in a few years he gets 3 games for a slew foot trip that wasn’t even called a penalty during the game but Subban can slew foot trip 3 guys within 3 weeks and severely injure the last guy and only get a slap on the wrist.
