THANK YOU ANITA AND THE LADY AFTERWARDS! -- for introducing - for a change - evidence based summary! SOOOO hard to find in this area. Why people waste time with AA/NA when there's naltrexone out there amazes me. AA/NA ("faith based) are fellowshipping, not medicine. They have a place - in peer group support for eg - but as a first line treatment they're inferior to medication based strategies. D.A. , J.D. NYC (drug court crim. def. atty)

This was great, been searching for "what's an alcoholic" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever come across - Paneyton Preliminary Prevalence - (just google it ) ? It is an awesome one off guide for discovering how to control your drinking habit without the headache. Ive heard some great things about it and my mate got excellent results with it.

In 2019, there is good news for science-based treatments - if a person really wants to get their drinking under control, but continually relapses - this documentary could help. 'One Little Pill' (The Sinclair Method) tubitv.com/movies/326586/one_little_pill Also, this TED talk explains the science pretty well kzitem.info/news/bejne/l3udzp2PmKVjp6g The Sinclair Method (TSM) >70% effective. After 6-12 months you most likely will be using the medication very seldom - or not at all! You do NOT need to take this medication daily for life! Watch Documentary: "One Little Pill" on TubiTV.COM “The Sinclair Method … it really made a lot of sense. It’s so beautiful. You don’t have to stop drinking. You don’t have to give up alcohol. The alcohol will give you up. So that is the beauty of this treatment.” Dr. Kshama Metre

So many programs out there that promise you'll quit drinking from one day to the next and feel great for the rest of your life. Listen, Steffon Barkload's Quit Drinking Forever takes a lighter, safer approach which you decide to go with at your own pace. Best shortcut I go’ogled that only took days to rewire my brain to continually experience mental peace.
