His timing was a little off on this video, probably because the audience was a lot further away, although I will say at least the sound quality was better. The first time I heard this guy the sound was terrible a lot of echo really hard to hear him between his accent and all the reverb they had on the mic and they were in a big hall ! however the audience was closer to him and audience participation is part of his act. His jokes crack me up 😂 like someone already said in this comment thread because it’s all true!

Dennis Miller in broken English. Baby Yoda doing Andrew Dice Clay's act. Who could be more 'politically correct' than this guy whose every utterance drips with the insecurity of one who fears the old status quo has been abandoned by his betters? The 'humor', always punching down, relies on mischaracterization and misrepresentation. De Santos' 'jokes' rely on a reality that never really existed so can only be resurrected by caricatures of oversimplifications and falsehoods. In other words it relies on warmed over, chauvinism, xenophobia and bigotry. Such biases used to be a universal element of elite control as Miller used to be seen as the George Will of comedy. But even most elites have moved on. It's a niche, alright. A niche for gargoyles.
