Such a wonderful piece of music. There’s something magical about that final section- the melody played without any bass or accompanying notes; the guitar just singing the melody sadly by itself, followed by a chord. Then it happens again- the melody, followed by a chord, and again and again, descending note by note each time until it finally reaches the bittersweet resolution.

Brilliant and sublime. Reminds us all of the importance of nuance and understatement. Just when I was losing hope for the classical guitar.

Gorgeous interpretation. One of the best I’ve heard over the years. Bravo!

I like your interpretation, very elegant with just the affect it needs, not much but at the right places. Many guitarists realize the chords with the thumb, witch is not a bad idea but often with not enough control of the tone and dynamic of all the notes of the chord, especially the last one ! I am pleased to see that I am not alone realizing them with p, i, m, a 🙂 Thank you for posting the video and bravo !

Nichola Perron! Je t’avais déjà entendu jouer « Solemne « de Barrios Mangore ( the best i ever seen) Bravo 👍🎼🎼🎄🎄🎄

Sounds very good! Along with this, it should be noted that the composer wrote "f" in the second movement. He dedicated it to Bach and, also, the composer himself has a rather assertive sounding style.
