How would you book Nick’s WWE in-ring debut? Let us know in the comments below!

I believe the on-screen role as GM is slowly a great push to build on going tension and feud with some of the main roster and perfect heel to feud with Aldis. Revealing Aldis' true hidden persona/identity as a former wrestler and world champion before WWE. In Aldis in ring comeback, his first tenure with WWE. Similar to HBK and Mickey Foley first hiatus as on-screen commissioners and Ric Flair eight month hiatus return to WWE/F in 01 as on screen co-owner of the WWE/F.

Aldis vs Rhodes would be a nice callback to All In for the hardcore while still being interesting to more casual fans as a babyface versus authority angle.

When Roman loses the title he blames Aldis. With the bloodline in shambles he send solo after aldis. Solo stalks him to the ring but is intercepted and sent/traded to one of the other brands for some character development work. Roman becomes apoplectic and starts putting Aldis in the crosshairs for summerslam

This honestly makes me love Nick Aldis sooooo much more. Aldis is a mix of CM Punk and Cody Rhodes, he's just good. He had that innate realism and passion that CM Punk has, but he was smart enough to sprinkle in the sports entertainment shine and rasslin' psychology to his matches, promos and segments. Knowing now that he was self aware enough to set aside his ego and do what's best for the wrestling product, that's just awesome. This may be out of pocket, but idk what other metaphor would work here, but Aldis could definitely become Triple H's Pat Patterson. If Triple H surrounds himself with William Regal, Shawn Michaels and Nick Aldis, that could become one HELL of a creative team. Triple H is a good idea and structuring guy, Steve Austin always said this on his podcast. William Regal can help Triple H narrow down his good ideas and keep them grounded, whereas Nick Aldis can flash it up and make the segments pop more. Aldis is literally the reason why All In's main event was so hot. Cody is my favorite wrestler now, so it's ironic that I'm on to the spot where Aldis is shooting on Cody, but he's right. Everyone remembers Cody because of AEW and the boom that started, but Cody would never have had that much heat if Nick Aldis wasn't so great at what he does. He matched Cody on the mic and is just as good as him. I honestly thought Nick Aldis was going to become Cody Rhodes' Ric Flair, they just seemed like 2 halfs of the same coin and they just gelled so well.

As I was watching this nick Aldis and cody were doing very similar gimmicks or presenting themselves as the "suit and tie, professional, old style wrestler".. the only thing cody had different was his lineage aspect..they both knew that they aren't the flashiest ,flippiest, or fast pace pwg style which are the 3 most common category of wrestler. Not many guys do the old school "slow it down boy!" Type style anymore either by choice or they simply don't know how to do it properly in a captivating way!! Sure cody stole a few moves like the "os cutter v 1 and v2" and cody also learned how to keep up with the "GO GO GO" guys because he had to, to survive aew lol.. aldis tho never even attempted to try to "speed up" because he didn't really have to in NWA. The only other guy who works like that is orton! I personally don't like Randys type of "work" because he simply dosnt try very hard anymore.. he does the greatest hits, he HAATTES taking any bump that isn't just a flat back, and since he is doo good at the other things like facials, timing, intensity ect ppl give him a pass... aldis tho cannot afford to be "boring" if he does get a chance to wrestle in WWE.. Il use another guy as a example, Bobby lashley!! Lashley is what aldis reminds me of style wise..also a LA knight is in the same style bracket workrate wise in that all 3 of those guys can "work" and have decent matches, but there's always something missing that makes it "great".. knight can coast on his personality and the fans will forgive his "meh" matches as long as his personality makes up for it..cody was in that category for a bit but he has been able elevate his workrate in spite of his mediocre moveset simply because he has been able to soak up the knowledge of EVERYONE he has worked with since 2017 or so.. I am digressing a bit so il bring it back to the point I'm trying to make..if nick aldis gets a chance to have a in ring career in wwe as a wrestler. He NEEDS to be more than the suit n tie guy who knows how to talk, but doesn't really have a personality outside of "old school clean cut guy".. his workrate isn't interesting enough to get him over in the heavy workrate era we are in, he hasn't earned the "pass for being minimal" like Orton, he dosent quite have the juiced out strongman thing that Lashley is coasting on, and cody has already taking the clean cut suit guy role on top of having a pretty good workrate..so aldis NEEDS "something"... im not sure what that "something" is, maybe he can develop a nasty heel persona as a "powertripping" authority figure and lean heavily on finding backhanded ways to book himself favorably!! Maybe work out a kayfabe "contract" that prevents him from losing his GM role for a certain amount of time, and while he is GM his word is gospel and if wwe breaks the terms they owe him millions of dollars in penalties!! giving himself the power to literally do whatever the fuck he wants!! Like just imagine cody finally winning that title, only to have this fucking GM book himself with every advantage possible n more or less just steals that title away from cody by hiding behind "fine print" in his GM contract!!..I think the best way for aldis to get over as a wrestler, is to start off as the most hated dude on smackdown!!..aldis can pull off a shit eating grin everytime he leans on his "position of power"
