I was a Flair fan for most of my life. I've spent the last few weeks watching all of Bocks matches.... against Lawler, Hogan, The Broadway with Henning, Wanz, and the list goes on. Ric Flair doesn't hold a candle to Bock. Nick was in his late 40s, early 50s when he was Champ in the early 80s. Each match is different, unlike Flair... when you've seen one you've seen them all. His ability to sell is impeccable, his mic ability outshines all, and his over all ring ability is remarkable. The AWA in the 70s and they thru 1983ish outshines WWF and NWA. If only Gagne would have spent the cash. He had all the stars! RIP Bock and Heenan

Bobby Heenan and Nick Bockwinkel were class acts - and i love how Gene would add "aw, please" after one of Bobby's one-liners, brilliant ...
@sspaay
I loved Nick's promos. I liked his ring work even better.

Bringing the Vikings and the Twins into this was a psychological masterpiece. Well at least with The Twins until 1991...🤦♂️⚾️🏈B.W.
