From Canada. At least he gave a good reason for his decision and did not try to gloss over it. He appears to be honest which is something needed in a politician. I would like to see him in a coalition with the Labour Party which is close to the liberal philosophy.

Was he not leader of a miner's union? Did he not have a problem with a woman Prime Minister who was very popular? Can't think of the name.

Thank you for that. I am not really up on British politics of the time. So Major slept with Curry; she sounds like hot stuff (sorry). You would never guess from the pictures I've seen of Major that he wasn't respectable to the point of boredom. Thanks again.

the reason why people find it hard to forgive him is because he made a KZitem video about broken promise. he still wants people to forgive him.

It's funny how the "mandate of the British people" applies to the Major parties but not the SNP. Also interesting to note that when the SNP formed a minority government in Scotland, the entire political system didn't collapse as major party leaders like to indicate would be the result of such an arrangement.

If what a politician want is a job rather than to do something worthwhile for his country, he does not join the liberal democrats is what a British friend says so we need more Lib Dems. Sounds good to me.

I wish the interviewer would stop going "mmm" every other second, it makes it virtually impossible to follow what Nick Clegg (the person we are actually interested in hearing from in this interview) is saying...

I actually thought he came across ok, I think partly due to the media, his time as deputy was deemed a failure, he was in a no win situation. They all blow their own trumpets & I don't think he did it enough !! I think he's become more credible in the last few weeks.

What a mess! If the people that are going to suffer the worst had only voted this could have been averted. Unfortunately they didn't - and they will each pay the price. Cameron will continue to target the most vulnerable and the gap between rich and poor will widen. Such a shame - for a minute there, I thought we were so close.

While consigning his party into the political wastebasket, not big enough for a rubbish bin now, im sure theres a nice directorship lined up for mr. Clogg. He was very keen on visiting nurseries.

Why is this person getting airtime. He has commited a crime by fraudulently misleading the public to try and steal a significant amount of student votes. He should be prosecuted.
