Nick Hakim is a WILD talent. Cometa is one of my favourite records of the last few years. So great to also hear an interviewer ask the exact questions I would love to ask him myself... Yay KEXP!

Wow - totaly blown away by this version of "Happen" - June McDoom´s verse is above singing, it´s a prayer. I can´t stop watching this song. Nick Hakim seems so touched at the end. They realy felt what they were doing. Sometimes I have the vague feeling, that i should or i would like to go on my knees for the beauty of live. With this piece I´ve found another altar.

Your words express exactly how I feel about that performance too. I keep coming back to this video and skipping to 16 minutes in. Just listening is beautiful, but watching her sing too..It’s like spiritual catharsis
