I don't understand why people automatically think a black quarterback should switch positions because of what he can do athletically. If johnny manziel was black i bet people would say the same thing that he should be a WR Or RB . Nick marshall is a very good qb and I think he should fit the eagles perfectly
@dogfacesoldier1000

Nick is just a far better athlete than manziel. I don't believe Manziel will be anything in the NFL, but all he can do is be a QB. While Nick is a good QB, I'm not entirely convinced he will be a team's franchise QB in the NFL. However, with his skill set, I do believe he could have a long career at 2 or 3 other positions. Hines Ward, from Georgia for example was a good QB, and went on to become one of the premiere Wide Recievers in the NFL for a number of years. If Manziel fails at QB, theres nothing else he can do. Nick Marshall however, can play pretty much any skill position that he's put at.

Antonio howard He's a Jaguar now and I'm excited to watch his transformation into a corner. It takes a lot of humility to accept that his college success at QB probably won't transfer over to the pro's. Sounds like he's just a pure athlete and he'll be a fun guy to watch in training camp. Jacksonville is also desperate for a long range athletic free safety so that could be an option for him too. Hope he makes it.
@killakangz5317

Evan D. wutz good potna i respectfully disagree from this point on we are going to see duel threat qb's or even triple threat players itz a shame in my opinion he not playin qb all his highlights qb position not sayin he could play corner back his interview told everythang he just tryna make a roster spot so itz undastood wish him tha best but would have luv seeing him playin qb bcuz he good at it and my favorite player past three year
@evand.455
9 жыл бұрын
KILLA KANGZ I think his QB window is still slightly open so I wouldn't give up on it yet. I'm sure Jacksonville will allow him a chance to throw during OTA's and training camp. They have no 3rd QB so if he can make the team as a DB then he would have some nice value as a Corner, safety, special teams guy, and QB. The Jags are used to seeing QBs such as him converting positions and they have gave them slight chances. Matt Jones and Denard Robinson both had success at QB at the college level but they just couldn't do it in the NFL. If Marshall can make the team it wouldn't surprise me to see him in a Wildcat a few teams during the year.

My favorite Auburn player & Auburn team of all time -the 2013 squad. They saved AU football , they restored the respect AU football lost after the disastrous 3-9 2012 season . The College Football world had left AU football for dead and was seen as a fluke team that got lucky in 2010 with a once in a generation QB in Cam Newton. They are the Rocky Balboa of the College Football world , just like Rocky, they may have not won the title but they won what no title alone can do -RESPECT. It would have been great if they had won the title but it was a fitting end for a team that was probably the most improbable team to “Go The Distance”

He was a decent passer, but nothing special, if you look at his game's, it's nothing like his highlight reels. A highlight reel is meant to make you look awesome, most of you on here don't have a dam clue what a good qb is. To be a successful nfl Qb, you need four things, ball placement, iq, pocket presence, reading defenses. College football is dumbed down for qb(most of them) that's why most never pan out in the nfl, in the nfl it's no getting around this like in college's, where most coaches do the thinking.
